Hebrews 9:2-7

2For 1a 2tabernacle was equipped, the 3outer sanctuary, in which were 4the lampstand, 5the table, and 6the 7sacred bread; this is called the Holy Place. 3Behind 8the second veil there was a 9tabernacle which is called the 10Most Holy Place, 4having a golden 1112altar of incense and 13the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was 14a golden jar holding the manna, 15Aaron’s staff which budded, and 16the tablets of the covenant; 5and above it were the 17cherubim of glory 18overshadowing the 19atoning cover; but about these things we cannot now speak in detail.

6Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests 20are continually entering the 21outer 22tabernacle, performing the divine worship, 7but into 23the second, only 24the high priest enters 25once a year, 26not without taking blood which he 27offers for himself and for the 2829sins of the people committed in ignorance.
