Hebrews 10:32-39

32But remember 1the former days, 2when, after being 3enlightened, you endured a great 4conflict of sufferings, 33partly by being 5made a public spectacle through insults and distress, and partly by becoming 6 7companions with those who were so treated. 34For you 8showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted 9joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves 10a better and lasting possession. 35Therefore, do not throw away your 11confidence, which has a great 12reward. 36For you have need of 13endurance, so that when you have 14done the will of God, you may 15receive 16what was promised.37 17For yet in a very little while, 18He who is coming will come, and will not delay.38 19But My righteous one will live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. 39But 20we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.
