Hebrews 10:32-39

32But remember 1the former days, 2when, after being 3enlightened, you endured a great 4conflict of sufferings, 33partly by being 5made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming 6sharers with those who were so treated. 34For you 7showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted 8joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves 9a better possession and a lasting one. 35Therefore, do not throw away your 10confidence, which has a great 11reward. 36For you have need of 12endurance, so that when you have 13done the will of God, you may 14receive 15what was promised.37 16For yet in a very little while, 17He who is coming will come, and will not delay.38 18But My righteous one shall live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. 39But 19we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the 20preserving of the soul.
