Ephesians 6:12-20

12For our 1struggle is not against 23flesh and blood, but 4against the rulers, against the powers, against the 5world forces of this 6darkness, against the 7spiritual forces of wickedness in 8the heavenly places. 13Therefore, take up 9the full armor of God, so that you will be able to 10resist on 11the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14Stand firm therefore, 12having belted your waist with truth, and having 13put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15and having 14strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; 1615in addition to all, taking up the 16shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the 17flaming arrows of 18the evil one. 17And take 19the helmet of salvation and the 20sword of the Spirit, which is 21the word of God.

1822With every 23prayer and request, 2425pray at all times 26in the Spirit, and with this in view, 2728be alert with all 29perseverance and every 30request for all the 31saints, 19and 32pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me 33in the opening of my mouth, to make known with 34boldness 35the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an 36ambassador 37in 38chains; that 39in proclaiming it I may speak 40boldly, 41as I ought to speak.
