Ephesians 5:6-13

61See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things 2the wrath of God comes upon 3the 4sons of disobedience.

7Therefore do not become 5partners with them;

8for 6you were once 7darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as 8children of light

9(for 9the fruit of the light consists in all 10goodness, righteousness, and truth),

101112as you try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

1113Do not participate in the useless 14deeds of 15darkness, but instead even 16expose them;

12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

13But all things become visible 17when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
