Ephesians 5:6-13

61Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things 2the wrath of God comes upon 3the sons of disobedience.

7Therefore do not be 4partakers with them;

8for 5you were formerly 6darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as 7children of Light

9(for 8the fruit of the Light consists in all 9goodness and righteousness and truth),

101011trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

1112Do not participate in the unfruitful 13deeds of 14darkness, but instead even 1516expose them;

12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

13But all things become visible 17when they are 18exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.
