Ephesians 4:1-10

1Therefore I, 1the prisoner of the Lord, 2urge you to 3walk in a manner worthy of the 4calling with which you have been 5called, 2with all 6humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another 7in love, 3being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the 8bond of peace. 4There is 9one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one 10hope of your calling; 5 11one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all 12who is over all and through all and in all.

7But 13to each one of us 14grace was given 15according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8Therefore 16it says, “17When He ascended on high, He 18led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.” 9(Now this expression, “He 19ascended,” what 20does it mean except that He also 21had descended into 22the lower parts of the earth? 10He who descended is Himself also He who ascended 23far above all the heavens, so that He might 24fill all things.)
