Ephesians 3:5-21
5which in other generations was not made known to 1mankind, as it has now been revealed to His holy 2apostles and prophets 3in the Spirit; 6to be specific, that the Gentiles are 4fellow heirs and 5fellow members of the body, and 6fellow partakers of the promise in 7Christ Jesus through the gospel, 78of which I was made a 9minister, according to the gift of 10God’s grace which was given to me 11according to the working of His power. 8To me, 12the very least of all 13saints, this grace was given, to 14preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable 15riches of Christ, 9and to 16enlighten all people as to what the plan of the 17mystery is which for ages has been 18hidden in God, 19who created all things; 10so that the multifaceted 20wisdom of God might now be 21made known through the church to the 22rulers and the authorities in 23the heavenly places. 11This was in 24accordance with the 25eternal purpose which He 26carried out in 27Christ Jesus our Lord, 12in whom we have boldness and 2829confident 30access through faith 31in Him. 13Therefore I ask 32you not 33to become discouraged about my tribulations 34in your behalf, 35since they are your glory.
14For this reason I 36bend my knees before the Father, 15from whom 37every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16that He would grant you, according to 38the riches of His glory, to be 39strengthened with power through His Spirit in 40the inner 41self, 17so that 42Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being 43rooted and 44grounded in love, 18may be able to comprehend with 45all the 46saints what is 47the width and length and height and depth, 19and to know 48the love of Christ which 49surpasses knowledge, that you may be 50filled to all the 51fullness of God.
2052Now to Him who is 53able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, 54according to the power that works within us, 2155to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations 56forever and ever. Amen.
