Ephesians 1:4-14

4just as 1He chose us in Him before 2the foundation of the world, that we would be 3holy and blameless before 4Him. 5In love 56He 7predestined us to 8adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, 9according to the good pleasure of His will, 610to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in 11the Beloved. 712In 13Him we have 14redemption 15through His blood, the 16forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to 17the riches of His grace 8which He 18lavished on 19us. In all wisdom and insight 9He 2021made known to us the mystery of His will, 22according to His good pleasure which He 23set forth in Him, 10regarding His plan of 24the fullness of the times, 25to bring all things together in Christ, things 26in the heavens and things on the earth. 1127In Him we also 28have obtained an inheritance, having been 29predestined 30according to the purpose of Him who works all things 31in accordance with the plan of His will, 12to the end that 32we who were the first to hope in the 33Christ would be 34to the praise of His glory. 13In 35Him, 36you also, after listening to 37the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also 38believed, you were 39sealed in 40Him with 41the Holy Spirit of the promise, 14who is a 42first installment of 43our inheritance, in regard to the 44redemption of 45God’s own possession, 46to the praise of His glory.
