1 John 4:8-13
8The one who does not love does not know God, because 1God is love.
9By this the love of God was revealed 23in us, that 4God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
10In this is love, 5not that we loved God, but that 6He loved us and sent His Son to be 7the 8propitiation for our sins.
119Beloved, if God so loved us, 10we also ought to love one another.
1211No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His 12love is perfected in us.
1313By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
