1 John 4:6-12
61We are from God. 2The one who knows God listens to us; 3the one who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know 4the spirit of truth and 5the spirit of error.
76Beloved, let’s 7love one another; for love is from God, and 8everyone who loves has been 9born of God and 10knows God. 8The one who does not love does not know God, because 11God is love. 9By this the love of God was revealed 1213in us, that 14God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. 10In this is love, 15not that we loved God, but that 16He loved us and sent His Son to be 17the 18propitiation for our sins. 1119Beloved, if God so loved us, 20we also ought to love one another. 1221No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His 22love is perfected in us.
