Daniel 10:1-9
1In the thirdH7969 yearH8141 of 1CyrusH3566 kingH4428 of PersiaH6539 a 2messageH1697 was revealedH1540 to 3DanielH1840, whoH834 was namedH7121H8034 BelteshazzarH1095; and the 45messageH1697 was trueH571 and one of greatH1419 6conflictH6635, but he understoodH995 the 7messageH1697 and had an 8understandingH998 of the visionH4758.
2In thoseH1992 daysH3117, I, DanielH1840, had beenH1961 9mourningH56 for threeH7969 entireH3117 weeksH7620. 3I 10did not eatH398 any 11tastyH2536 foodH3899, norH3808 did meatH1320 or wineH3196 enterH935 my mouthH6310, norH3808 did I useH5480 any ointmentH5480 at all untilH5704 the entireH3117 threeH7969 weeksH7620 were completedH4390. 4On the twenty-fourthH6242H702 dayH3117 of the firstH7223 monthH2320, while I was by the bankH3027 of the greatH1419 12riverH5104, that is, the 13TigrisH2313, 5I liftedH5375 my eyesH5869 and lookedH7200, and beholdH2009, there was a certainH259 manH376 14dressedH3847 in linenH906, whose waistH4975 was 15girdedH2296 with a belt of pureH3800 16goldH3800 of UphazH210. 6His bodyH1472 also was like 17berylH8658, his faceH6440 18had the appearanceH4758 of lightningH1300, 19his eyesH5869 were like flamingH784 torchesH3940, his armsH2220 and feetH4772 like the gleamH5869 of polishedH7044 bronzeH5178, and the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697 like the soundH6963 of a 20tumultH1995. 7Now I, DanielH1840, 21aloneH905 sawH7200 the visionH4759, while the 22menH376 whoH834 were with me did not seeH7200 the visionH4759; neverthelessH61, a greatH1419 23dreadH2731 fellH5307 on them, and they ranH1272 awayH1272 to hideH2244 themselves. 8So I was 24leftH7604 aloneH905 and sawH7200 thisH2088 greatH1419 visionH4759; yet 25noH3808 strengthH3581 was leftH7604 in me, for my 26naturalH1935 colorH1935 turnedH2015 to 27a deathlyH4889 pallorH4889, and I retainedH6113 noH3808 strengthH3581. 9But I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697; and as soon as I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of his wordsH1697, I 28fellH7290 into a deepH7290 sleepH7290 on my faceH6440, with my faceH6440 to the groundH776.
