201AfterH310 allH3605 thisH2088, whenH834 JosiahH2977 had setH3559 the 2templeH1004 in orderH3559, NecoH5224 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 cameH5927 up to makeH3898 warH3898 at 3CarchemishH3751 on the EuphratesH6578, and JosiahH2977 wentH3318 out to engageH7122 him.
21But 4Neco sentH7971 messengersH4397 to him, sayingH559, “5WhatH4100 have we to do with each other, O KingH4428 of JudahH3063? I am not coming againstH5921 you todayH3117 but againstH413 the houseH1004 with which I am at warH4421, and GodH430 has orderedH559 me to hurryH926. StopH2308 for your own sake from interfering with GodH430 whoH834 is with me, soH408 that He will not destroyH7843 you.”
22However, JosiahH2977 would not turnH5437 6awayH5437 from him, but 7disguisedH2664 himself in order to makeH3898 warH3898 with him; norH3808 did he listenH8085 to the wordsH1697 of NecoH5224 8from the mouthH6310 of GodH430, but cameH935 to makeH3898 warH3898 on the plainH1237 of 9MegiddoH4023.
23The archersH3384 shotH3384 KingH4428 JosiahH2977, and the kingH4428 saidH559 to his servantsH5650, “TakeH5674 me awayH5674, for I am badlyH3966 woundedH2470.”
