13Now manyH7227 peopleH5971 were gatheredH622 at JerusalemH3389 to celebrateH6213 the FeastH2282 of UnleavenedH4682 BreadH4682 1in the secondH8145 monthH2320, a veryH3966 largeH7230 assemblyH6951. 14They aroseH6965 and removedH5493 the altarsH4196 whichH834 were in JerusalemH3389; they also 2removedH5493 allH3605 the incenseH4729 altarsH4729 and 3castH7993 them into the brookH5158 KidronH6939. 15Then 4they slaughteredH7819 the PassoverH6453 lambs on the fourteenthH702 H6240 of the secondH8145 monthH2320. And 5the priestsH3548 and LevitesH3881 were ashamedH3637 of themselves, and consecratedH6942 themselves and broughtH935 burntH5930 offeringsH5930 to the houseH1004 of the LordH3068. 16 6They stoodH5975 at their stationsH5977 after their customH4941, according to the lawH8451 of MosesH4872 the manH376 of GodH430; the priestsH3548 sprinkledH2236 the bloodH1818 which they received from the handH3027 of the LevitesH3881. 17For there were manyH7227 in the assemblyH6951 whoH834 had not consecratedH6942 themselves; therefore, 7the LevitesH3881 were overH5921 the slaughterH7821 of the PassoverH6453 lambs for everyoneH3605 who was uncleanH3808 H2889, in order to consecrateH6942 them to the LordH3068. 18For a multitudeH4768 of the peopleH5971, 8even manyH7227 from EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519, IssacharH3485 and ZebulunH2074, had not purifiedH2891 themselves, 9yetH3588 they ateH398 the PassoverH6453 10otherwiseH3808 than 11prescribedH3789. For HezekiahH2396 prayedH6419 for them, sayingH559, “May the goodH2896 LordH3068 pardonH3722 19 12everyoneH3605 who preparesH3559 his heartH3824 to seekH1875 GodH430, the LordH3068 GodH430 of his fathersH1, though not according to the purificationH2893 rules of the sanctuaryH6944.” 20So the LordH3068 heardH8085 HezekiahH2396 and 13healedH7495 the peopleH5971. 21The sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 presentH4672 in JerusalemH3389 14celebratedH6213 the FeastH2282 of UnleavenedH4682 BreadH4682 for sevenH7651 daysH3117 with greatH1419 joyH8057, and the LevitesH3881 and the priestsH3548 praisedH1984 the LordH3068 dayH3117 after dayH3117 with loudH5797 instrumentsH3627 to the LordH3068. 22Then HezekiahH2396 15spokeH1696 16encouraginglyH5921 H3820 to allH3605 the LevitesH3881 who showedH7919 goodH2896 insightH7922 in the things of the LordH3068. So they ateH398 for the appointedH4150 sevenH7651 daysH3117, sacrificingH2076 peaceH8002 offeringsH8002 and 17givingH3034 thanksH3034 to the LordH3068 GodH430 of their fathersH1.

23Then the wholeH3605 assemblyH6951 18decidedH3289 to celebrateH6213 the feast anotherH312 sevenH7651 daysH3117, so they celebratedH6213 the sevenH7651 daysH3117 with joyH8057. 24For 19HezekiahH2396 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 had contributedH7311 to the assemblyH6951 1,000H505 bullsH6499 and 7,000H7651 H505 sheepH6629, and the princesH8269 had contributedH7311 to the assemblyH6951 1,000H505 bullsH6499 and 10,000H6235 H505 sheepH6629; and 20a largeH7230 numberH7230 of priestsH3548 consecratedH6942 themselves. 25AllH3605 the assemblyH6951 of JudahH3063 rejoicedH8055, with the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881 and 21allH3605 the assemblyH6951 that cameH935 from IsraelH3478, both the sojournersH1616 who cameH935 from the landH776 of IsraelH3478 and those livingH3427 in JudahH3063. 26So there was greatH1419 joyH8057 in JerusalemH3389, becauseH3588 there was nothingH3808 like thisH2088 in JerusalemH3389 22sinceH3588 the daysH3117 of SolomonH8010 the sonH1121 of DavidH1732, kingH4428 of IsraelH3478. 27Then 23the LeviticalH3881 priestsH3548 aroseH6965 and 24blessedH1288 the peopleH5971; and their voiceH6963 was heardH8085 and their prayerH8605 cameH935 to 25His holyH6944 dwellingH4583 placeH4583, to heavenH8064.
