2 Chronicles 24:23-25
23Now it happenedH1961 at the turnH8622 of the yearH8141 that 1the armyH2428 of the ArameansH758 cameH5927 up againstH5921 him; and they cameH935 to JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, destroyedH7843 allH3605 the officialsH8269 of the peopleH5971 from among the peopleH5971, and sentH7971 allH3605 their spoilH7998 to the kingH4428 of DamascusH1834. 24IndeedH3588 the armyH2428 of the ArameansH758 cameH935 with a smallH4705 number of menH376; yet 2the LordH3068 deliveredH5414 a veryH3966 greatH7230 armyH2428 into their handsH3027, 3becauseH3588 they had forsakenH5800 the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1. Thus they executedH6213 judgmentH8201 on JoashH3060.
254When they had departedH1980 from him (for they leftH5800 him veryH7227 sickH4251), his own servantsH5650 conspiredH7194 againstH5921 him because of the bloodH1818 of the 5sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 the priestH3548, and murderedH2026 him on his bedH4296. So he diedH4191, and they buriedH6912 him in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, but they did not buryH6912 him in the tombsH6913 of the kingsH4428.
