1 Samuel 28:7-13
7Then SaulH7586 saidH559 to his servantsH5650, “SeekH1875 for me a womanH802 who is a mediumH1172H178, that I may goH1980 to her and inquireH1875 of her.” And his servantsH5650 saidH559 to him, “BeholdH2009, 1there is a womanH802 who is a mediumH1172H178 at 2En-dorH5874.”
8Then SaulH7586 3disguisedH2664 himself by puttingH3847 on otherH312 clothesH899, and wentH1980, he and twoH8147 menH376 with him, and they cameH935 to the womanH802 by nightH3915; and he saidH559, “4ConjureH7080 up for me, pleaseH4994, and 5bringH5927 up for me whomH834 I shall 6nameH559 to you.” 9But the womanH802 saidH559 to him, “BeholdH2009, you knowH3045 7whatH834 SaulH7586 has doneH6213, howH834 he has cutH3772 offH3772 those who are mediumsH178 and spiritistsH3049 from the landH776. WhyH4100 are you then layingH5367 a snareH5367 for my lifeH5315 to bringH4191 about my deathH4191?” 10SaulH7586 vowedH7650 to her by the LordH3068, sayingH559, “As the LordH3068 livesH2416, noH518 punishmentH5771 shall comeH7136 upon you for thisH2088 thingH1697.” 11Then the womanH802 saidH559, “WhomH4310 shall I bringH5927 up for you?” And he saidH559, “BringH5927 up SamuelH8050 for me.” 12When the womanH802 sawH7200 SamuelH8050, she criedH2199 out with a loudH1419 voiceH6963; and the womanH802 spokeH559 to SaulH7586, sayingH559, “WhyH4100 have you deceivedH7411 me? For you are SaulH7586.” 13The kingH4428 saidH559 to her, “Do not be afraidH3372; but whatH4100 do you seeH7200?” And the womanH802 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “I seeH7200 a 8divineH430 beingH430 comingH5927 up out of the earthH776.”
