1 Samuel 17:48-51
48Then it happenedH1961 whenH3588 the PhilistineH6430 roseH6965 and cameH1980 and drewH7126 nearH7126 to meetH7122 DavidH1732, that 1DavidH1732 ranH7323 quicklyH4116 toward the battleH4634 lineH4634 to meetH7122 the PhilistineH6430. 49And DavidH1732 putH7971 his handH3027 into his bagH3627 and tookH3947 from it a stoneH68 and slungH7049 it, and struckH5221 the PhilistineH6430 on his foreheadH4696. And the stoneH68 sankH2883 into his foreheadH4696, so that he fellH5307 on his faceH6440 to the groundH776.
50Thus DavidH1732 prevailedH2388 overH4480 the PhilistineH6430 with a slingH7050 and a stoneH68, and he struckH5221 the PhilistineH6430 and killedH4191 him; but thereH369 was noH369 swordH2719 in David’sH1732 handH3027. 51Then DavidH1732 ranH7323 and stoodH5975 overH413 the PhilistineH6430 and 2tookH3947 his swordH2719 and drewH8025 it out of its sheathH8593 and killedH4191 him, and cutH3772 offH3772 his headH7218 with it. 3When the PhilistinesH6430 sawH7200 that their championH1368 was deadH4191, they fledH5127.
