1 Corinthians 11:1-6
11Be imitatorsG3402 of me, justG2531 as I alsoG2532 am of ChristG5547.
2NowG1161 2I praiseG1867 you becauseG3754 you 3rememberG3403 me in everythingG3956 and 4holdG2722 firmlyG2722 to the traditionsG3862, justG2531 as I deliveredG3860 them to you. 3But I wantG2309 you to understandG3609 that 5ChristG5547 is the 6headG2776 of everyG3956 manG435, and 7the manG435 is the headG2776 of a womanG1135, and GodG2316 is the 8headG2776 of 9ChristG5547. 4EveryG3956 manG435 who hasG2192 something on his headG2776 while prayingG4336 orG2228 10prophesyingG4395 disgracesG2617 his headG2776. 5But everyG3956 11womanG1135 who has her headG2776 uncoveredG177 while prayingG4336 orG2228 prophesyingG4395 disgracesG2617 her headG2776, for she is oneG1520 and the sameG846 as the womanG1135 12whose head is 13shavedG3587. 6For ifG1487 a womanG1135 does not coverG2619 14her head, let her alsoG2532 15have her hairG2751 cutG2751 offG2751; but ifG1487 it is disgracefulG150 for a womanG1135 to 16have her hairG2751 cutG2751 offG2751 orG2228 17her head shavedG3587, let her coverG2619 18her head.
