4“Comeעֲלֽוּ־'a.lu-H5927up to me and helpוְעִזְרֻ֔נִיve.'iz.Ru.niH5826me, and let usattackוְנַכֶּ֖הve.na.KehH5221Gibeonגִּבְע֑וֹןgiv.'onH1391, for it hasmadeH7999peaceהִשְׁלִ֥ימָהhish.Li.mahH7999with Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091and with the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”

7So Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091wentוַיַּ֨עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927up from Gilgalהַגִּלְגָּ֗לha.gil.GalH1537, he andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971of warהַמִּלְחָמָה֙ha.mil.cha.MahH4421with him and allוְכֹ֖לve.KholH3605the valiantהֶחָֽיִל׃ פhe.Cha.yilH2428warriorsגִּבּוֹרֵ֥יgi.bo.ReiH1368.
8The Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091, “Do not fearתִּירָ֣אti.Ra'H3372them, for I have givenנְתַתִּ֑יםne.ta.TimH5414them into your handsבְיָדְךָ֖ve.ya.de.KhaH3027; notoneאִ֛ישׁ'ishH376of them shall standיַעֲמֹ֥דya.'a.ModH5975beforeבְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃be.fa.Nei.khaH6440you.”

Thus he didוַיַּ֣עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213to its kingלְמַלְכָּ֔הּle.mal.KahH4428justH3512as he had doneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213to the kingלְמֶ֥לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428of Jerichoיְרִיחֽוֹ׃ סye.ri.ChoH3405.
31And Joshuaיְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַYe.ho.shu.a'H3091and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֥לYis.ra.'ElH3478with him passedוַיַּעֲבֹ֣רvai.ya.'a.VorH5674on from Libnahמִלִּבְנָ֖הmi.liv.NahH3841to Lachishלָכִ֑ישָׁהla.Khi.shahH3923,and they campedוַיִּ֣חַןvai.Yi.chanH2583by it and foughtוַיִּלָּ֖חֶםvai.yi.La.chemH3898against it.
32The Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068gaveוַיִּתֵּן֩vai.yi.TenH5414Lachishלָכִ֜ישׁla.KhishH3923into the handsבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478;and he capturedוַֽיִּלְכְּדָהּ֙vai.yil.ke.DahH3920it on the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֔יha.she.NiH8145dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117,and struckוַיַּכֶּ֣הָvai.ya.Ke.haH5221it and everyכָּל־kol-H3605personהַנֶּ֖פֶשׁha.Ne.feshH5315whoH834wasin it with the edgeלְפִי־le.fi-H6310of the swordחֶ֔רֶבChe.revH2719,according to allכְּכֹ֥לke.KholH3605that he had doneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213to Libnahלְלִבְנָֽה׃ פle.liv.NahH3841.
