2And nowוְעַתָּ֣ה׀ve.'a.TahH6258they sinלַחֲטֹ֗אla.cha.To'H2398moreH3254and moreH3254,And makeוַיַּעְשׂ֣וּvai.ya'.SuH6213for themselvesmoltenH4541imagesמַסֵּכָ֨הma.se.KhahH4541,Idolsעֲצַבִּ֔ים'a.tza.BimH6091skillfullyכִּתְבוּנָם֙kit.vu.NamH8394made from their silverמִכַּסְפָּ֤םmi.kas.PamH3701,Allכֻּלֹּ֑הku.LohH3605of them theworkמַעֲשֵׂ֥הma.'a.SehH4639of craftsmenחָרָשִׁ֖יםcha.ra.ShimH2796.They sayאֹמְרִ֔ים'o.me.RimH559of them, “Let themenאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120who sacrificeזֹבְחֵ֣יzoe.CheiH2076kissיִשָּׁקֽוּן׃yi.sha.KunH5401thecalvesעֲגָלִ֖ים'a.ga.LimH5695!”

3Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651they will be like themorningבֹּ֔קֶרBo.kerH1242cloudכַּעֲנַן־ka.'a.nan-H6051And like dewוְכַטַּ֖לve.kha.TalH2919whichsoonמַשְׁכִּ֣יםmash.KimH7925disappearsהֹלֵ֑ךְho.LekhH1980, Likechaffכְּמֹץ֙ke.MotzH4671which is blownH5590awayH5590from the threshingמִגֹּ֔רֶןmi.Go.renH1637floorH1637And likesmokeוּכְעָשָׁ֖ןu.khe.'a.ShanH6227from achimneyמֵאֲרֻבָּֽה׃me.'a.ru.BahH699.

5Icaredיְדַעְתִּ֖יךָye.da'.Ti.khaH3045for you in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057,In the landבְּאֶ֖רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of droughtתַּלְאֻבֽוֹת׃tal.'u.VotH8514.

6As they hadtheir pastureכְּמַרְעִיתָם֙ke.mar.'i.TamH4830,they becameH7646satisfiedH7646,And beingH7646satisfiedH7646, theirheartלִבָּ֑םli.BamH3820becameH7311proudH7311;Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֖ן'al- kenH5921 H3651theyforgotשְׁכֵחֽוּנִי׃she.khe.Chu.niH7911Me.

7So I will belikeכְּמוֹ־ke.mov-H3644a lionשָׁ֑חַלSha.chalH7826to them; Like aleopardכְּנָמֵ֖רke.na.MerH5246I willlieH7789in waitH7789by the waysideדֶּ֥רֶךְDe.rekhH1870.

12The iniquityעֲוֹ֣ן'a.VonH5771of Ephraimאֶפְרָ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669is boundצָרוּר֙tza.RurH6887up;His sinחַטָּאתֽוֹ׃cha.ta.ToH2403isstoredצְפוּנָ֖הtze.fu.NahH6845up.

13The painsחֶבְלֵ֥יchev.LeiH2256ofchildbirthיֽוֹלֵדָ֖הyo.le.DahH3205comeיָבֹ֣אוּya.Vo.'uH935upon him; He isnot a wiseחָכָ֔םcha.KhamH2450sonבֵן֙venH1121, Forit is not the timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256that he shoulddelayיַעֲמֹ֖דya.'a.ModH5975at the openingבָּנִֽים׃ba.NimH4866 H1121of the wombH4866.
