Israel’s Future Blessing

1Returnשׁ֚וּבָהShu.vahH7725,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,to the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your GodH430,For you have stumbledכָשַׁ֖לְתָּkha.Shal.taH3782because of youriniquityבַּעֲוֹנֶֽךָ׃ba.'a.vo.Ne.khaH5771.

2Takeקְח֤וּke.ChuH3947wordsדְּבָרִ֔יםde.va.RimH1697with you and returnH7725to the LordH3068.Sayאִמְר֣וּ'im.RuH559to Him, “Takeתִּשָּׂ֤אti.Sa'H5375away allכָּל־kol-H3605iniquityH5771Andreceiveוְקַח־ve.kach-H3947usgraciouslyט֔וֹבTovH2896, That we maypresentוּֽנְשַׁלְּמָ֥הu.ne.sha.le.MahH7999the fruitפָרִ֖יםfa.RimH6499of our lipsשְׂפָתֵֽינוּ׃se.fa.Tei.nuH8193.

3Assyriaאַשּׁ֣וּר׀'a.ShurH804will not saveיוֹשִׁיעֵ֗נוּyo.shi.'E.nuH3467us, We willnot rideנִרְכָּ֔בnir.KavH7392on horsesסוּס֙susH5483;NorH3808will we sayH559againע֛וֹדodH5750, ‘Our godאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430,’ To theworkלְמַעֲשֵׂ֣הle.ma.'a.SehH4639of our handsיָדֵ֑ינוּya.Dei.nuH3027; For in You theorphanיָתֽוֹם׃ya.TomH3490findsH7355mercyH7355.”

4I willhealאֶרְפָּא֙'er.Pa'H7495their apostasyמְשׁ֣וּבָתָ֔םme.Shu.va.TamH4878, I willloveאֹהֲבֵ֖ם'o.ha.VemH157them freelyנְדָבָ֑הne.da.VahH5071,For My angerאַפִּ֖י'a.PiH639hasturnedH7725awayשָׁ֥בshavH7725from them.

5I will be like thedewכַטַּל֙kha.TalH2919to Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478;He will blossomיִפְרַ֖חyif.RachH6524like thelilyכַּשּֽׁוֹשַׁנָּ֑הka.sho.sha.NahH7799, And he willtakeוְיַ֥ךְve.YakhH5221rootשָׁרָשָׁ֖יוsha.ra.ShavH8328like the cedars ofLebanonכַּלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ka.le.va.NonH3844.

6His shootsיֹֽנְקוֹתָ֔יוyo.ne.ko.TavH3127willsproutיֵֽלְכוּ֙ye.le.KhuH1980, And hisbeautyהוֹד֑וֹho.DoH1935will be like theoliveכַזַּ֖יִתkha.Za.yitH2132treeH2132And his fragranceוְרֵ֥יחַֽve.Rei.achH7381like the cedars ofLebanonH3844.

7Those wholiveיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427in his shadowבְצִלּ֔וֹve.tzi.LoH6738Willagainיָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ya.Shu.vuH7725raiseיְחַיּ֥וּye.chai.YuH2421grainדָגָ֖ןda.GanH1715,And they will blossomוְיִפְרְח֣וּve.yif.re.ChuH6524like the vineכַגָּ֑פֶןkha.Ga.fenH1612.His renownזִכְר֖וֹzikh.RoH2143will belike the wineכְּיֵ֥יןke.YeinH3196of LebanonH3844.

8O Ephraimאֶפְרַ֕יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,whatמַה־mah-H4100moreע֖וֹדodH5750have I to do withidolsלָֽעֲצַבִּ֑יםla.'a.tza.BimH6091?It is I who answerעָנִ֣יתִי'a.Ni.tiH6030and lookוַאֲשׁוּרֶ֗נּוּva.'a.shu.Re.nuH7789after you.I am like a luxuriantרַֽעֲנָ֔ןra.'a.NanH7488cypressכִּבְר֣וֹשׁkiv.Ro.oshH1265; FromMe comesנִמְצָֽא׃nim.Tza'H4672your fruitפֶּרְיְךָ֥per.ye.KhaH6529.

9Whoeverמִ֤יmiH4310is wiseחָכָם֙cha.KhamH2450,let him understandוְיָ֣בֵֽןve.Ya.venH995theseH428thingsאֵ֔לֶּה'E.lehH428; Whoeveris discerningנָב֖וֹןna.VonH995,let him knowוְיֵֽדָעֵ֑םve.ye.da.'EmH3045them. For thewaysדַּרְכֵ֣יdar.KheiH1870of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068are rightיְשָׁרִ֞יםye.sha.RimH3477, And therighteousוְצַדִּקִים֙ve.tza.di.KimH6662will walkיֵ֣לְכוּYe.le.khuH1980in them, Buttransgressorsוּפֹשְׁעִ֖יםu.fo.she.'ImH6586will stumbleיִכָּ֥שְׁלוּyi.Ka.she.luH3782in them.
