2“Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120,takeשָׂ֤אsa'H5375up alamentationקִינָה֙ki.NahH7015overעַל־'al-H5921Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֣הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to him, ‘Youcomparedנִדְמֵ֑יתָnid.Mei.taH1819yourself to a youngכְּפִ֥ירke.FirH3715lionH3715of the nationsגּוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471, Yet you are like themonsterH8577in the seasבַּיַּמִּ֔יםbai.ya.MimH3220; And youburstוַתָּ֣גַחva.Ta.gachH1518forthH1518in your riversבְּנַהֲרוֹתֶ֗יךָbe.na.ha.ro.Tei.khaH5104And muddiedוַתִּדְלַח־va.tid.lach-H1804the watersמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325with your feetבְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָbe.rag.Lei.khaH7272AndfouledH7511their riversנַהֲרוֹתָֽם׃na.ha.ro.TamH5104.’”

3Thusכֹּ֤הkohH3541saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068, “Now I willspreadוּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤יu.fa.ras.TiH6566My netרִשְׁתִּ֔יrish.TiH7568overעָלֶ֙יךָ֙'a.Lei.khaH5921youWith a companyבִּקְהַ֖לbik.HalH6951of manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227peoplesעַמִּ֣ים'a.MimH5971,And they shall liftוְהֶעֱל֖וּךָve.he.'e.Lu.khaH5927you up in My netבְּחֶרְמִֽי׃be.cher.MiH2764.

4I will leaveוּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָu.ne.tash.Ti.khaH5203you on the landבָאָ֔רֶץva.'A.retzH776;I will castאֲטִילֶ֑ךָ'a.ti.Le.khaH2904you on theopenפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704.And I will cause allכָּל־kol-H3605thebirdsע֣וֹףofH5775of the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064to dwellוְהִשְׁכַּנְתִּ֤יve.hish.kan.TiH7931on you,And I will satisfyוְהִשְׂבַּעְתִּ֥יve.his.ba'.TiH7646the beastsH2421of the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776with you.

5I will layוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414your fleshבְּשָׂרְךָ֖be.sa.re.KhaH1320on the mountainsהֶֽהָרִ֑יםhe.ha.RimH2022And fillוּמִלֵּאתִ֥יu.mi.le.TiH4390the valleysהַגֵּאָי֖וֹתha.ge.'a.YotH1516with your refuseרָמוּתֶֽךָ׃ra.mu.Te.khaH7419.

6I will also make the landאֶ֧רֶץ'E.retzH776drinkוְהִשְׁקֵיתִ֨יve.hish.kei.TiH8248the dischargeצָפָתְךָ֛tza.fa.te.KhaH6824of yourbloodמִדָּמְךָ֖mi.da.me.KhaH1818As farאֶל־'el-H413as the mountainsהֶֽהָרִ֑יםhe.ha.RimH2022,And the ravinesוַאֲפִקִ֖יםva.'a.fi.KimH650will be fullיִמָּלְא֥וּןyi.mal.'UnH4390of you.

7And when Iextinguishבְכַבּֽוֹתְךָ֙ve.kha.bot.KhaH3518you, I willcoverוְכִסֵּיתִ֤יve.khi.sei.TiH3680the heavensשָׁמַ֔יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064and darkenוְהִקְדַּרְתִּ֖יve.hik.dar.TiH6937theirstarsכֹּֽכְבֵיהֶ֑םko.khe.vei.HemH3556;I will coverאֲכַסֶּ֔נּוּ'a.kha.Se.nuH3680thesunשֶׁ֚מֶשׁShe.meshH8121with a cloudבֶּעָנָ֣ןbe.'a.NanH6051And the moonוְיָרֵ֖חַve.ya.Re.achH3394will not giveיָאִ֥ירya.'IrH215its lightאוֹרֽוֹ׃'o.RoH216.

8Allכָּל־kol-H3605the shiningמְא֤וֹרֵיme.'o.reiH3974lightsאוֹר֙'OrH216in the heavensבַּשָּׁמַ֔יִםba.sha.Ma.yimH8064I will darkenאַקְדִּירֵ֖ם'ak.di.RemH6937overH5921youAnd will setוְנָתַ֤תִּיve.na.Ta.tiH5414darknessחֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙cho.shekhH2822on your landאַרְצְךָ֔'ar.tze.KhaH776,”Declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068.
