19Amonאָמ֣וֹן'a.MonH526was twenty-twoעֶשְׂרִ֨ים וּשְׁתַּ֤יִם'es.Rim u.she.Ta.yimH6242 H8147yearsשָׁנָה֙sha.NahH8141oldבֶּן־ben-H1121when he becameH4427kingבְּמָלְכ֔וֹbe.ma.le.KhoH4427,and he reignedמָלַ֖ךְma.LakhH4427twoוּשְׁתַּ֣יִםu.she.Ta.yimH8147yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389;and his mother’sאִמּ֔וֹ'i.MoH517nameוְשֵׁ֣םve.ShemH8034wasMeshullemethמְשֻׁלֶּ֥מֶתme.shu.Le.metH4922the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Haruzחָר֖וּץcha.RutzH2743of Jotbahיָטְבָֽה׃ya.te.VahH3192.

20He didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213evilהָרַ֖עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,as Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֥הme.na.ShehH4519his fatherאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1had doneעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213.

21For he walkedוַיֵּ֕לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the wayהַדֶּ֖רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870that his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1had walkedהָלַ֣ךְha.LakhH1980,and servedוַֽיַּעֲבֹ֗דvai.ya.'a.VodH5647the idolsהַגִּלֻּלִים֙ha.gi.lu.LimH1544that his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1had servedעָבַ֣ד'a.VadH5647and worshipedוַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּvai.yish.Ta.chuH7812them.

22Sohe forsookוַיַּעֲזֹ֕בvai.ya.'a.ZoH5800the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָ֑יו'a.vo.TavH1,and did not walkהָלַ֖ךְha.LakhH1980in the wayבְּדֶ֥רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

23The servantsעַבְדֵֽי־'av.dei-H5650of Amonאָמ֖וֹן'a.MonH526conspiredוַיִּקְשְׁר֥וּvai.yik.she.RuH7194againstעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921him and killedוַיָּמִ֥יתוּvai.ya.Mi.tuH4191the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428in his own houseבְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃be.vei.ToH1004.
