21“Goלְכוּ֩le.KhuH1980,inquireדִרְשׁ֨וּdir.ShuH1875of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068for me and for those who are leftהַנִּשְׁאָר֙ha.nish.'ArH7604in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֣לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478and in Judahוּבִֽיהוּדָ֔הu.vi.hu.DahH3063,concerningH5921the wordsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of the bookהַסֵּ֖פֶרha.Se.ferH5612whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834has been foundנִמְצָ֑אnim.Tza'H4672; forgreatגְדוֹלָ֤הge.do.LahH1419is the wrathחֲמַת־cha.mat-H2534of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is pouredנִתְּכָ֣הni.te.KhahH5413out on us becauseאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH5921 H834our fathersאֲבוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙'a.vo.Tei.nuH1have not observedשָׁמְר֤וּsha.me.RuH8104the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,to doלַעֲשׂ֕וֹתla.'a.SotH6213according to allכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605that is writtenהַכָּת֖וּבha.ka.TuvH3789in thisהַזֶּֽה׃ פha.ZehH2088bookהַסֵּ֥פֶרha.Se.ferH5612.”

22So Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֜הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518and thosewhomוַאֲשֶׁ֣רva.'a.SherH834the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428had told wentוַיֵּ֨לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to Huldahחֻלְדָּ֨הchul.DahH2468the prophetessהַנְּבִיאָ֜הha.ne.vi.'AhH5031,the wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת׀'E.shetH802of Shallumשַׁלֻּ֣םsha.LumH7967the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofTokhathH8445,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Hasrahחַסְרָה֙chas.RahH2641,the keeperשׁוֹמֵ֣רsho.MerH8104of the wardrobeהַבְּגָדִ֔יםha.be.ga.DimH899(now she livedיוֹשֶׁ֥בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389in the Secondבַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑הba.mish.NehH4932Quarter); and they spokeוַיְדַבְּר֥וּvay.da.be.RuH1696to her regarding thisH2088.

23She saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559to them, “Thusכֹּה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘Tellאִמְר֣וּ'im.RuH559the manלָאִ֔ישׁla.'IshH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834sentשָׁלַ֥חsha.LachH7971you to Me,

24thusכֹּ֚הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “BeholdH2009,I am bringingמֵבִ֥יאme.Vi'H935evilH7463on thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725and on its inhabitantsיוֹשְׁבָ֑יוyo.she.VavH3427, evenallכָּל־kol-H3605the cursesהָאָלוֹת֙ha.'a.lOtH423writtenהַכְּתוּב֣וֹתha.ke.tu.VotH3789in the bookהַסֵּ֔פֶרha.Se.ferH5612whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they have readקָֽרְא֔וּka.re.'UH7121in the presenceלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440of the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

25Becauseתַּ֣חַת׀ אֲשֶׁ֣רTa.chat 'a.SherH8478 H834they have forsakenעֲזָב֗וּנִי'a.za.Vu.niH5800Me and have burnedH6999incenseH6999to otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵֽאלֹהִ֣יםle.lo.HimH430,that they might provokeהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִיhakh.'i.Se.niH3707Me to angerH3707with allבְּכֹ֖לbe.KholH3605the worksמַעֲשֵׂ֣יma.'a.SeiH4639of their handsיְדֵיהֶ֑םye.dei.HemH3027;therefore My wrathחֲמָתִ֛יcha.ma.TiH2534will be pouredוְתִתַּ֧ךְve.ti.TakhH5413out on thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088placeבַּמָּק֥וֹםba.ma.KomH4725and it shall not be quenchedתִכְבֶּֽה׃tikh.BehH3518.”’

26But to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063who sentהַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַha.sho.Le.achH7971you to inquireלִדְר֣וֹשׁlid.Ro.oshH1875of the Lordבַּֽיהוָ֔הba.Yah.wehH3068,thusכֹּ֥הkohH3541you will sayתֹאמְר֖וּto.me.RuH559to him, ‘Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478regardingthe wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you have heardשָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃sha.Ma.'e.taH8085,

27“Becauseיַ֠עַןYa.'anH3282your heartלְבָ֨בְךָ֜le.Va.ve.khaH3824was tenderרַךְ־rakh-H7401and you humbledH3665yourselfH3665beforeמִלִּפְנֵ֣יmi.lif.NeiH4480 H6440Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430when you heardבְּשָׁמְעֲךָ֤be.sha.me.'a.KhaH8085His wordsדְּבָרָיו֙de.va.RavH1697againstעַל־'al-H5921thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֤וֹםha.ma.KomH4725and againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921its inhabitantsיֹ֣שְׁבָ֔יוyo.she.VavH3427, and becauseyou humbledH3665yourselfH3665beforeלְפָנַ֔יle.fa.NaiH6440Me, toreוַתִּקְרַ֥עva.tik.Ra'H7167your clothesבְּגָדֶ֖יךָbe.ga.Dei.khaH899and weptוַתֵּ֣בְךְּva.Te.vekH1058beforeלְפָנָ֑יle.fa.NaiH6440Me, I trulyוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571have heardשָׁמַ֖עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085you,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

28“BeholdH2009,I will gatherאֹֽסִפְךָ֜'o.sif.KhaH622you to your fathersאֲבֹתֶ֗יךָ'a.vo.Tei.khaH1and you shall be gatheredוְנֶאֱסַפְתָּ֣ve.ne.'e.saf.TaH622to your graveקִבְרֹתֶיךָ֮kiv.ro.tei.ChaH6913in peaceבְּשָׁלוֹם֒be.sha.lOmH7965,so your eyesעֵינֶ֔יךָ'ei.Nei.khaH5869will not seeתִרְאֶ֣ינָהtir.'Ei.nahH7200allבְּכֹל֙be.KholH3605the evilH7463whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834I will bringמֵבִ֛יאme.Vi'H935on thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725and on its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבָ֑יוyo.she.VavH3427.”’”And they broughtH7725backוַיָּשִׁ֥יבוּvai.ya.Shi.vuH7725wordדָּבָֽר׃ פda.VarH1697to the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428.
