6And Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵ֨אלyish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְתַנְיָ֤הne.tan.YahH5418went forthוַ֠יֵּצֵאVai.ye.tze'H3318from Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּ֔הha.mitz.PahH4709to meetH7125them, weepingוּבֹכֶ֑הu.vo.KhehH1058all alongהֹלֵ֥ךְho.LekhH1980as he wentהָלֹ֖ךְha.LokhH1980:and it came to pass, as he metכִּפְגֹ֣שׁkif.GoshH6298them, he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Comeבֹּ֖אוּBo.'uH935to Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֥הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahikamאֲחִיקָֽם׃ ס'a.chi.KamH296.

7And it was so,when they cameכְּבוֹאָ֖םke.vo.'AmH935into the midstתּ֣וֹךְTokhH8432of the cityהָעִ֑ירha.'IrH5892,that Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵ֤אלyish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְתַנְיָה֙ne.tan.YahH5418slewוַיִּשְׁחָטֵ֞םvai.yish.cha.TemH7819them, and cast theminto the midstתּ֣וֹךְTokhH8432of the pitהַבּ֔וֹרha.BorH953,he, and the menוְהָאֲנָשִׁ֥יםve.ha.'a.na.ShimH582that were with him.

8But tenוַעֲשָׂרָ֨הva.'a.sa.RahH6235menאֲנָשִׁ֜ים'a.na.ShimH582were foundנִמְצְאוּ־nim.tze.'u-H4672among them that saidוַיֹּאמְר֤וּvai.yo.me.RuH559unto Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵאל֙yish.ma.'eLH3458,Slayתְּמִתֵ֔נוּte.mi.Te.nuH4191us not: for we haveיֶשׁ־yesh-H3426treasuresמַטְמֹנִים֙mat.mo.NimH4301in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704,of wheatחִטִּ֥יםchi.TimH2406,and of barleyוּשְׂעֹרִ֖יםu.se.'o.RimH8184,and of oilוְשֶׁ֣מֶןve.She.menH8081,and of honeyוּדְבָ֑שׁu.de.VashH1706.So he forbareוַיֶּחְדַּ֕לvai.yech.DalH2308,and slewהֱמִיתָ֖םhe.mi.TamH4191them not amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432their brethrenאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃'a.chei.HemH251.
