3And fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysי֔וֹםYomH3117were fulfilledוַיִּמְלְאוּ־vai.yim.le.'u-H4390for him; for so are fulfilledיִמְלְא֖וּyim.le.'UH4390the daysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117of those which are embalmedהַחֲנֻטִ֑יםha.cha.nu.TimH2590:and the EgyptiansH4714mournedוַיִּבְכּ֥וּvai.yiv.KuH1058for him threescore and tenשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657daysיֽוֹם׃YomH3117.

4And when the daysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117of his mourningבְכִית֔וֹve.khi.ToH1068were pastוַיַּֽעַבְרוּ֙vai.ya.'av.RuH5674,Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696unto the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,If now I have foundמָצָ֤אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672graceחֵן֙chenH2580in your eyesבְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔םbe.'Ei.nei.KhemH5869,speakדַּבְּרוּ־da.be.ru-H1696,I pray you, in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֥יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of Pharaohפַרְעֹ֖הfar.'OhH6547,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

5My fatherאָבִ֞י'a.ViH1made me swearהִשְׁבִּיעַ֣נִיhish.bi.'A.niH7650,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,Loהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,I dieמֵת֒metH4191:in my graveבְּקִבְרִ֗יbe.kiv.RiH6913which I have diggedכָּרִ֤יתִיka.Ri.tiH3738for me in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Canaanכְּנַ֔עַןke.Na.'anH3667,there shalt thou bury meתִּקְבְּרֵ֑נִיtik.be.Re.niH6912.Now therefore let me go upאֶֽעֱלֶה־'e.'e.leh-H5927,I pray thee, and buryוְאֶקְבְּרָ֥הve.'ek.be.RahH6912my fatherאָבִ֖י'a.ViH1,and I will come againוְאָשֽׁוּבָה׃ve.'a.Shu.vahH7725.

6And Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֑הpar.'OhH6547saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Go upעֲלֵ֛ה'a.LehH5927,and buryוּקְבֹ֥רu.ke.VorH6912thy fatherאָבִ֖יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1,according as he made thee swearהִשְׁבִּיעֶֽךָ׃hish.bi.'E.khaH7650.

7And Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130went upוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927to buryלִקְבֹּ֣רlik.BorH6912his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1:and with him went upוַיַּֽעֲל֨וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927all the servantsעַבְדֵ֤י'av.DeiH5650of Pharaohפַרְעֹה֙far.'OhH6547,the eldersזִקְנֵ֣יzik.NeiH2205of his houseבֵית֔וֹvei.ToH1004,and all the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205of the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714,

8And all the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130,and his brethrenוְאֶחָ֖יוve.'e.ChavH251,and his father’sאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1houseוּבֵ֣יתu.VeitH1004:only their little onesטַפָּם֙ta.PamH2945,and their flocksוְצֹאנָ֣םve.tzo.NamH6629,and their herdsוּבְקָרָ֔םu.ve.ka.RamH1241,they leftעָזְב֖וּ'a.ze.VuH5800in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Goshenגֹּֽשֶׁן׃Go.shenH1657.

9And there went upוַיַּ֣עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927with him both chariotsרֶ֖כֶבRe.khevH7393and horsemenפָּרָשִׁ֑יםpa.ra.ShimH6571:and it was a veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966greatכָּבֵ֥דka.VedH3515companyהַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖הha.ma.cha.NehH4264.
