1Ye arethe childrenבָּנִ֣יםba.NimH1121of the Lordלַֽיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430:ye shall not cutתִתְגֹּֽדְד֗וּtit.go.de.DuH1413yourselves, nor makeתָשִׂ֧ימוּta.Si.muH7760any baldnessקָרְחָ֛הka.re.ChahH7144between your eyesעֵינֵיכֶ֖ם'ei.nei.KhemH5869for the deadלָמֵֽת׃la.MetH4191.

2For thou artan holyקָדוֹשׁ֙ka.do.VoshH6918peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971unto the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,and the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068hath chosenבָּחַ֣רba.CharH977thee to be a peculiarסְגֻלָּ֔הse.gu.LahH5459peopleלְעַ֣םle.'AmH5971unto himself, above all the nationsהָֽעַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971that areuponפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440the earthהָאֲדָמָֽה׃ סha.'a.da.MahH127.

3Thou shalt not eatתֹאכַ֖לto.KhalH398any abominable thingתּוֹעֵבָֽה׃to.'e.VahH8441.

4These arethe beastsהַבְּהֵמָ֖הha.be.he.MahH929which ye shall eatתֹּאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398:the oxשׁ֕וֹרShorH7794,the sheepכְשָׂבִ֖יםkhe.sa.VimH3775 H7716,and the goatעִזִּֽים׃'i.ZimH5795,

5The hartאַיָּ֥ל'ai.YalH354,and the roebuckוּצְבִ֖יu.tze.ViH6643,and the fallow deerוְיַחְמ֑וּרve.yach.MurH3180,and the wild goatוְאַקּ֥וֹve.'a.KoH689,and the pygargוְדִישֹׁ֖ןve.di.ShonH1788,and the wild oxוּתְא֥וֹu.te.'OH8377,and the chamoisוָזָֽמֶר׃va.Za.merH2169.

6And every beastבְּהֵמָ֞הbe.he.MahH929that partethמַפְרֶ֣סֶתmaf.Re.setH6536the hoofפַּרְסָ֗הpar.SahH6541,and cleavethשֶׁ֙סַע֙she.sa'H8157the cleftוְשֹׁסַ֤עַתve.sho.Sa.'atH8156into twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147clawsפְרָס֔וֹתfe.ra.SotH6541, andchewethמַעֲלַ֥תma.'a.LatH5927the cudגֵּרָ֖הge.RahH1625among the beastsבַּבְּהֵמָ֑הba.be.he.MahH929,that ye shall eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398.

7Nevertheless these ye shall not eatתֹֽאכְלוּ֙to.khe.LuH398of them that chewמִמַּֽעֲלֵ֣יmi.ma.'a.LeiH5927the cudהַגֵּרָ֔הha.ge.RahH1625,or of them that divideוּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֥יu.mi.maf.ri.SeiH6536the clovenהַשְּׁסוּעָ֑הha.she.su.'AhH8156hoofהַפַּרְסָ֖הha.par.SahH6541; asthe camelהַ֠גָּמָלHa.ga.molH1581,and the hareהָאַרְנֶ֨בֶתha.'ar.Ne.vetH768,and the coneyהַשָּׁפָ֜ןha.sha.FanH8227:for they chewמַעֲלֵ֧הma.'a.LehH5927the cudגֵרָ֣הge.RahH1625,but divideהִפְרִ֔יסוּhif.Ri.suH6536not the hoofוּפַרְסָה֙u.far.SahH6541; therefore they areuncleanטְמֵאִ֥יםte.me.'ImH2931unto you.

8And the swineהַ֠חֲזִירHa.cha.zirH2386,because it dividethמַפְרִ֨יסmaf.RisH6536the hoofפַּרְסָ֥הpar.SahH6541,yet cheweth not the cudגֵרָ֔הge.RahH1625, it isuncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931unto you: ye shall not eatתֹאכֵ֔לוּto.Khe.luH398of their fleshמִבְּשָׂרָם֙mi.be.sa.RamH1320,nor touchתִגָּֽעוּ׃ סti.Ga.'uH5060their dead carcaseוּבְנִבְלָתָ֖םu.ve.niv.la.TamH5038.

9These ye shall eatתֹּֽאכְל֔וּto.khe.LuH398of all that arein the watersבַּמָּ֑יִםba.Ma.yimH4325:all that have finsסְנַפִּ֥ירse.na.PirH5579and scalesוְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂתve.kas.Ke.setH7193shall ye eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398:

10And whatsoever hath not finsסְנַפִּ֥ירse.na.PirH5579and scalesוְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂתve.kas.Ke.setH7193ye may not eatתֹאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398; it isuncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931unto you.

11Ofall cleanטְהֹרָ֖הte.ho.RahH2889birdsצִפּ֥וֹרtzi.PorH6833ye shall eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398.

12But these are theyof which ye shall not eatתֹאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398:the eagleהַנֶּ֥שֶׁרha.Ne.sherH5404,and the ossifrageוְהַפֶּ֖רֶסve.ha.Pe.resH6538,and the osprayוְהָֽעָזְנִיָּֽה׃ve.Ha.'a.ze.ni.YahH5822,

13And the gledeוְהָרָאָה֙ve.ha.ra.'AhH7201,and the kiteהָ֣אַיָּ֔הha.'ai.YahH344,and the vultureוְהַדַּיָּ֖הve.ha.dai.YahH1772after his kindלְמִינָֽהּ׃le.mi.NahH4327,

14And every ravenעֹרֵ֖ב'o.RevH6158after his kindלְמִינֽוֹ׃le.mi.NoH4327,

15And the owlבַּ֣ת הַֽיַּעֲנָ֔הbat hai.ya.'a.NahH3284 H1323,and the night hawkהַתַּחְמָ֖סha.tach.MasH8464,and the cuckowהַשָּׁ֑חַףha.Sha.chafH7828,and the hawkהַנֵּ֖ץha.NetzH5322after his kindלְמִינֵֽהוּ׃le.mi.Ne.huH4327,

16The little owlהַכּ֥וֹסha.KosH3563,and the great owlהַיַּנְשׁ֖וּףhai.yan.ShufH3244,and the swanוְהַתִּנְשָֽׁמֶת׃ve.ha.tin.Sha.metH8580,

17And the pelicanוְהַקָּאָ֥תve.ha.ka.'AtH6893,and the gier eagleהָרָחָ֖מָהha.ra.Cha.mahH7360,and the cormorantהַשָּׁלָֽךְ׃ha.sha.LakhH7994,

18And the storkוְהַ֣חֲסִידָ֔הve.Ha.cha.si.DahH2624,and the heronוְהָאֲנָפָ֖הve.ha.'a.na.FahH601after her kindלְמִינָ֑הּle.mi.NahH4327,and the lapwingוְהַדּוּכִיפַ֖תve.ha.du.khi.FatH1744,and the batוְהָעֲטַלֵּֽף׃ve.ha.'a.ta.LefH5847.

19And every creeping thingשֶׁ֣רֶץShe.retzH8318that fliethהָע֔וֹףha.'ofH5775isuncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931unto you: they shall not be eatenיֵאָכֵֽלוּ׃ye.'a.Khe.luH398.

20But ofall cleanטָה֖וֹרta.HorH2889fowlsע֥וֹףofH5775ye may eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398.

21Ye shall not eatתֹאכְל֣וּto.khe.LuH398ofany thing that dieth of itselfנְ֠בֵלָהNe.ve.lahH5038:thou shalt giveתִּתְּנֶ֣נָּהti.te.Ne.nahH5414it unto the strangerלַגֵּ֨רla.GerH1616that isin thy gatesבִּשְׁעָרֶ֜יךָbish.'a.Rei.khaH8179,that he may eatוַאֲכָלָ֗הּva.'a.kha.LahH398it; or thou mayest sellמָכֹר֙ma.KhorH4376it unto an alienלְנָכְרִ֔יle.na.khe.RiH5237: for thou artan holyקָדוֹשׁ֙ka.do.VoshH6918peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971unto the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.Thou shalt not seetheתְבַשֵּׁ֥לte.va.ShelH1310a kidגְּדִ֖יge.DiH1423in his mother’sאִמּֽוֹ׃ פ'i.MoH517milkבַּחֲלֵ֥בba.cha.LevH2461.

22Thou shalt trulyעַשֵּׂ֣ר'a.SerH6237titheתְּעַשֵּׂ֔רte.'a.SerH6237all the increaseתְּבוּאַ֣תte.vu.'AtH8393of thy seedזַרְעֶ֑ךָzar.'E.khaH2233,that the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704bringeth forthהַיֹּצֵ֥אhai.yo.Tze'H3318yearשָׁנָ֥הsha.NahH8141by yearשָׁנָֽה׃sha.NahH8141.

23And thou shalt eatוְאָכַלְתָּ֞ve.'a.khal.TaH398beforeלִפְנֵ֣י׀lif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,in the placeבַּמָּק֣וֹםba.ma.KomH4725which he shall chooseיִבְחַר֮yiv.CharH977to placeלְשַׁכֵּ֣ןle.sha.KenH7931his nameשְׁמ֣וֹshe.MoH8034there, the titheמַעְשַׂ֤רma'.SarH4643of thy cornדְּגָֽנְךָ֙de.ga.ne.KhaH1715,of thy wineתִּֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ti.ro.she.KhaH8492,and of thine oilוְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָve.yitz.ha.Re.khaH3323,and the firstlingsH1062of thy herdsבְּקָרְךָ֖be.ka.re.ChaH1241and of thy flocksוְצֹאנֶ֑ךָve.tzo.Ne.khaH6629;that thou mayest learnתִּלְמַ֗דtil.MadH3925to fearלְיִרְאָ֛הle.yir.'AhH3372the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430alwaysהַיָּמִֽים׃hai.ya.MimH3117.

24And if the wayהַדֶּ֗רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870be too longיִרְבֶּ֨הyir.BehH7235for thee, so thatH3588thou art not ableתוּכַ֘לtu.KhalH3201to carryשְׂאֵתוֹ֒se.'e.ToH5375it; orif the placeהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725be too farיִרְחַ֤קyir.ChakH7368from thee, which the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall chooseיִבְחַר֙yiv.CharH977to setלָשׂ֥וּםla.SumH7760his nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034there, when the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430hath blessedיְבָרֶכְךָ֖ye.va.rekh.KhaH1288thee:

25Then shalt thou turnוְנָתַתָּ֖הve.na.ta.TahH5414itinto moneyבַּכָּ֑סֶףba.Ka.sefH3701,and bind upוְצַרְתָּ֤ve.tzar.TaH6696the moneyהַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ha.Ke.sefH3701in thine handבְּיָ֣דְךָ֔be.Ya.de.khaH3027,and shalt goוְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ve.ha.lakh.TaH1980unto the placeהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725which the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall chooseיִבְחַ֛רyiv.CharH977:

26And thou shalt bestowוְנָתַתָּ֣הve.na.ta.TahH5414that moneyהַכֶּ֡סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701for whatsoever thy soulנַפְשְׁךָ֜naf.she.KhaH5315lusteth afterתְּאַוֶּ֨הte.'a.VehH183,for oxenבַּבָּקָ֣רba.ba.KarH1241,or for sheepוּבַצֹּ֗אןu.va.TzonH6629,or for wineוּבַיַּ֙יִן֙u.vai.Ya.yinH3196,or for strong drinkוּבַשֵּׁכָ֔רu.va.she.KharH7941,or for whatsoever thy soulנַפְשֶׁ֑ךָnaf.She.khaH5315desirethתִּֽשְׁאָלְךָ֖tish.'a.le.KhaH7592:and thou shalt eatוְאָכַ֣לְתָּve.'a.Khal.taH398there beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,and thou shalt rejoiceוְשָׂמַחְתָּ֖ve.sa.mach.TaH8055,thou, and thine householdוּבֵיתֶֽךָ׃u.vei.Te.khaH1004,

27And the Leviteוְהַלֵּוִ֥יve.ha.le.ViH3881that iswithin thy gatesבִּשְׁעָרֶ֖יךָbish.'a.Rei.khaH8179;thou shalt not forsakeתַֽעַזְבֶ֑נּוּta.'az.Ve.nuH5800him; for he hath no partחֵ֥לֶקChe.lekH2506nor inheritanceוְנַחֲלָ֖הve.na.cha.LahH5159with thee.
