1When the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall bringיְבִֽיאֲךָ֙ye.vi.'a.KhaH935thee into the landהָאָ֕רֶץha.'A.retzH776whither thou goestבָא־va'-H935to possessלְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּle.rish.TahH3423it, and hath cast outוְנָשַׁ֣לve.na.ShalH5394manyרַבִּ֣ים׀ra.BimH7227nationsגּֽוֹיִם־go.yim-H1471beforeמִפָּנֶ֡יךָmi.pa.Nei.khaH6440thee, the Hittitesהַֽחִתִּי֩ha.chi.TiH2850,and the Girgashitesוְהַגִּרְגָּשִׁ֨יve.ha.gir.ga.ShiH1622,and the Amoritesוְהָאֱמֹרִ֜יve.ha.'e.mo.RiH567,and the Canaanitesוְהַכְּנַעֲנִ֣יve.ha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669,and the Perizzitesוְהַפְּרִזִּ֗יve.hap.pe.ri.ZiH6522,and the Hivitesוְהַֽחִוִּי֙ve.ha.chi.ViH2340,and the Jebusitesוְהַיְבוּסִ֔יve.hay.vu.SiH2983,sevenשִׁבְעָ֣הshiv.'AhH7651nationsגוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471greaterרַבִּ֥יםra.BimH7227and mightierוַעֲצוּמִ֖יםva.'a.tzu.MimH6099than thou;

2And when the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall deliverוּנְתָנָ֞םu.ne.ta.NamH5414them beforeלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee; thou shalt smiteוְהִכִּיתָ֑םve.hi.ki.TamH5221them, andutterlyהַחֲרֵ֤םha.cha.RemH2763destroyתַּחֲרִים֙ta.cha.RimH2763them; thou shalt makeתִכְרֹ֥תtikh.RotH3772no covenantבְּרִ֖יתbe.RitH1285with them, nor shew mercyתְחָנֵּֽם׃te.cha.NemH2603unto them:

3Neither shalt thou make marriagesתִתְחַתֵּ֖ןtit.cha.TenH2859with them; thy daughterבִּתְּךָ֙bi.te.KhaH1323thou shalt not giveתִתֵּ֣ןti.TenH5414unto his sonלִבְנ֔וֹliv.NoH1121,nor his daughterוּבִתּ֖וֹu.vi.ToH1323shalt thou takeתִקַּ֥חti.KachH3947unto thy sonלִבְנֶֽךָ׃liv.Ne.khaH1121.

4For they will turn awayיָסִ֤ירya.SirH5493thy sonבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121from followingמֵֽאַחֲרַ֔יme.'a.cha.RaiH310me, that they may serveוְעָבְד֖וּve.'a.ve.DuH5647otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430:so will the angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068be kindledוְחָרָ֤הve.cha.RahH2734against you, and destroyוְהִשְׁמִידְךָ֖ve.hish.mi.de.KhaH8045thee suddenlyמַהֵֽר׃ma.HerH4118.

5But thus shall ye dealתַעֲשׂוּ֙ta.'a.SuH6213with them; ye shall destroyתִּתֹּ֔צוּti.To.tzuH5422their altarsמִזְבְּחֹתֵיהֶ֣םmiz.be.cho.tei.HemH4196,and break downתְּשַׁבֵּ֑רוּte.sha.Be.ruH7665their imagesוּמַצֵּבֹתָ֖םu.ma.tze.vo.TamH4676,and cut downתְּגַדֵּע֔וּןte.ga.de.'UnH1438their grovesוַאֲשֵֽׁירֵהֶם֙va.'a.shei.re.HemH842,and burnתִּשְׂרְפ֥וּןtis.re.FunH8313their graven imagesוּפְסִילֵיהֶ֖םu.fe.si.lei.HemH6456with fireבָּאֵֽשׁ׃ba.'EshH784.

6For thou artan holyקָדוֹשׁ֙ka.do.VoshH6918peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971unto the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430:the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430hath chosenבָּחַ֣ר׀ba.CharH977thee to be a specialסְגֻלָּ֔הse.gu.LahH5459peopleלְעַ֣םle.'AmH5971unto himself, above all peopleהָֽעַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971that areupon the faceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָאֲדָמָֽה׃ סha.'a.da.MahH127.

7The Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068did not set his loveחָשַׁ֧קcha.ShakH2836upon you, nor chooseוַיִּבְחַ֣רvai.yiv.CharH977you, because ye were moreH7230in number than any peopleהָֽעַמִּ֗יםha.'a.MimH5971; for ye werethe fewestהַמְעַ֖טham.'AtH4592of all peopleהָעַמִּֽים׃ha.'a.MimH5971:

8But because the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068lovedמֵֽאַהֲבַ֨תme.'a.ha.VatH160you, and because he would keepוּמִשָּׁמְר֤וּu.mi.sha.me.RoH8104the oathהַשְּׁבֻעָה֙ha.she.vu.'AhH7621which he had swornנִשְׁבַּע֙nish.Ba'H7650unto your fathersלַאֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םla.'a.Vo.tei.KhemH1,hath the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068brought you outהוֹצִ֧יאho.Tzi'H3318with a mightyחֲזָקָ֑הcha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֣דbe.YadH3027,and redeemedוַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֙vai.yif.de.KhaH6299you out of the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of bondmenעֲבָדִ֔ים'a.va.DimH5650,from the handמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֥הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

9Knowוְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ve.Ya.da'.taH3045therefore that the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430, he isGodהָֽאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,the faithfulהַֽנֶּאֱמָ֔ןha.ne.'e.ManH539Godהָאֵל֙ha.'ElH410,which keepethשֹׁמֵ֧רsho.MerH8104covenantהַבְּרִ֣יתha.be.RitH1285and mercyוְהַחֶ֗סֶדve.ha.Che.sedH2617with them that loveלְאֹהֲבָ֛יוle.'o.ha.VavH157him and keepוּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥יu.le.sho.me.ReiH8104his commandmentsמִצְוֹתָ֖יוmitz.vo.tovH4687to a thousandלְאֶ֥לֶףle.'E.lefH505generationsדּֽוֹר׃DorH1755;

10And repayethוּמְשַׁלֵּ֧םu.me.sha.LemH7999them that hateלְשֹׂנְאָ֛יוle.so.ne.'AvH8130him to their faceפָּנָ֖יוpa.NavH6440,to destroyלְהַאֲבִיד֑וֹle.ha.'a.vi.DoH6them: he will not be slackיְאַחֵר֙ye.'a.CherH309to him that hatethלְשֹׂ֣נְא֔וֹle.So.ne.'OH8130him, he will repayיְשַׁלֶּם־ye.sha.lem-H7999him to his faceפָּנָ֖יוpa.NavH6440.

11Thou shalt therefore keepוְשָׁמַרְתָּ֨ve.sha.mar.TaH8104the commandmentsהַמִּצְוָ֜הha.mitz.VahH4687,and the statutesהַֽחֻקִּ֣יםha.chu.KimH2706,and the judgmentsהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֗יםha.mish.pa.TimH4941,which I commandמְצַוְּךָ֛me.tza.ve.KhaH6680thee this dayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117,to doלַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃ פla.'a.so.TamH6213them.

12Wherefore it shall come to pass, ifעֵ֣קֶב'E.kevH6118ye hearkenתִּשְׁמְע֗וּןtish.me.'UnH8085to these judgmentsהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֙ha.mish.pa.TimH4941,and keepוּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥םu.she.mar.TemH8104,and doוַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖םva.'a.si.TemH6213them, that the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall keepוְשָׁמַר֩ve.sha.MarH8104unto thee the covenantהַבְּרִית֙ha.be.RitH1285and the mercyהַחֶ֔סֶדha.Che.sedH2617which he swareנִשְׁבַּ֖עnish.Ba'H7650unto thy fathersלַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃la.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1:

13And he will loveוַאֲהֵ֣בְךָ֔va.'a.He.ve.khaH157thee, and blessוּבֵרַכְךָ֖u.ve.rakh.KhaH1288thee, and multiplyוְהִרְבֶּ֑ךָve.hir.Be.khaH7235thee: he will also blessוּבֵרַ֣ךְu.ve.RakhH1288the fruitפְּרִֽי־pe.ri-H6529of thy wombבִטְנְךָ֣vit.ne.KhaH990,and the fruitוּפְרִֽי־u.fe.ri-H6529of thy landאַ֠דְמָתֶךָ'Ad.ma.te.khaH127,thy cornדְּגָ֨נְךָ֜de.Ga.ne.khaH1715,and thy wineוְתִֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ve.ti.ro.she.KhaH8492,and thine oilוְיִצְהָרֶ֗ךָve.yitz.ha.Re.khaH3323,the increaseשְׁגַר־she.gar-H7698of thy kineאֲלָפֶ֙יךָ֙'a.la.Fei.khaH504,and the flocksוְעַשְׁתְּרֹ֣תve.'ash.te.RotH6251of thy sheepצֹאנֶ֔ךָtzo.Ne.khaH6629,in the landהָֽאֲדָמָ֔הha.'a.da.MahH127which he swareנִשְׁבַּ֥עnish.Ba'H7650unto thy fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֖יךָla.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1to giveלָ֥תֶתLa.tetH5414thee.

14Thou shalt be blessedבָּר֥וּךְba.RukhH1288above all peopleהָעַמִּ֑יםha.'a.MimH5971:there shall not be maleעָקָ֥ר'a.KarH6135or female barrenוַֽעֲקָרָ֖הva.'a.ka.RahH6135among you, or among your cattleוּבִבְהֶמְתֶּֽךָ׃u.viv.hem.Te.khaH929.

15And the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068will take awayוְהֵסִ֧ירve.he.SirH5493from thee all sicknessחֹ֑לִיCho.liH2483,and will putיְשִׂימָם֙ye.si.MamH7760none of the evilהָרָעִ֜יםha.ra.'ImH7451diseasesמַדְוֵי֩mad.VeiH4064of Egyptמִצְרַ֨יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,which thou knowestיָדַ֗עְתָּya.Da'.taH3045,upon thee; but will layוּנְתָנָ֖םu.ne.ta.NamH5414them upon all themthat hateשֹׂנְאֶֽיךָ׃so.ne.'Ei.khaH8130thee.

16And thou shalt consumeוְאָכַלְתָּ֣ve.'a.khal.TaH398all the peopleהָֽעַמִּ֗יםha.'a.MimH5971which the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall deliverנֹתֵ֣ןno.TenH5414thee; thine eyeעֵֽינְךָ֖'ei.ne.KhaH5869shall have no pityתָחֹ֥סta.ChosH2347upon them: neither shalt thou serveתַעֲבֹד֙ta.'a.VodH5647their godsאֱלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם'e.Lo.hei.HemH430; for that will bea snareמוֹקֵ֥שׁmo.KeshH4170unto thee.

17If thou shalt sayתֹאמַר֙to.MarH559in thine heartבִּלְבָ֣בְךָ֔bil.Va.ve.khaH3824,These nationsהַגּוֹיִ֥םha.go.YimH1471aremoreרַבִּ֛יםra.BimH7227than I; howאֵיכָ֥ה'ei.KhahH349canאוּכַ֖ל'u.KhalH3201I dispossessלְהוֹרִישָֽׁם׃le.ho.ri.ShamH3423them?

18Thou shalt not be afraidתִירָ֖אti.Ra'H3372of them: butshalt wellזָכֹ֣רza.KhorH2142rememberתִּזְכֹּ֗רtiz.KorH2142what the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430didעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213unto Pharaohלְפַרְעֹ֖הle.far.'OhH6547,and unto all Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714;

19The greatהַגְּדֹלֹ֜תha.ge.do.LotH1419temptationsהַמַּסֹּ֨תha.ma.SotH4531which thine eyesעֵינֶ֗יךָ'ei.Nei.khaH5869sawרָא֣וּra.'UH7200,and the signsוְהָאֹתֹ֤תve.ha.'o.TotH226,and the wondersוְהַמֹּֽפְתִים֙ve.ha.mo.fe.TimH4159,and the mightyהַחֲזָקָה֙ha.cha.za.KahH2389handוְהַיָּ֤דve.hai.YadH3027,and the stretched outהַנְּטוּיָ֔הha.ne.tu.YahH5186armוְהַזְּרֹ֣עַve.ha.ze.Ro.a'H2220,whereby the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430brought thee outהוֹצִֽאֲךָ֖ho.tzi.'a.KhaH3318:so shall the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430doיַעֲשֶׂ֞הya.'a.SehH6213unto all the peopleהָ֣עַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971of whom thou art afraidיָרֵ֖א מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ya.Re' mi.pe.nei.HemH6440 H3373.

20Moreover the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430will sendיְשַׁלַּ֛חye.sha.LachH7971the hornetהַצִּרְעָ֔הha.tzir.'AhH6880among them, until they that are leftהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֛יםha.nish.'a.RimH7604,and hideוְהַנִּסְתָּרִ֖יםve.ha.nis.ta.RimH5641themselves fromמִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃mi.pa.Nei.khaH6440thee, be destroyedאֲבֹ֗ד'a.VodH6.

21Thou shalt not be affrightedתַעֲרֹ֖ץta.'a.RotzH6206atמִפְּנֵיהֶ֑םmi.pe.nei.HemH6440them: for the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430isamongבְּקִרְבֶּ֔ךָbe.kir.Be.chaH7130you, a mightyגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419Godאֵ֥ל'elH410and terribleוְנוֹרָֽא׃ve.no.Ra'H3372.

22And the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430will put outוְנָשַׁל֩ve.na.ShalH5394thoseהָאֵ֛לha.'ElH411nationsהַגּוֹיִ֥םha.go.YimH1471beforeמִפָּנֶ֖יךָmi.pa.Nei.khaH6440thee by littleמְעַ֣טme.'AtH4592and littleמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592:thou mayestתוּכַל֙tu.KhalH3201not consumeכַּלֹּתָ֣םka.lo.TamH3615them at onceמַהֵ֔רma.HerH4118,lest the beastsחַיַּ֥תchai.YatH2416of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ha.sa.DehH7704increaseתִּרְבֶּ֥הtir.BehH7235upon thee.

23But the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall deliverוּנְתָנָ֛םu.ne.ta.NamH5414them unto theeלְפָנֶ֑יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440,and shall destroyH1949them with a mightyגְדֹלָ֔הge.do.LahH1419destructionמְהוּמָ֣הme.hu.MahH4103,until they be destroyedהִשָּׁמְדָֽם׃hi.sha.me.DamH8045.

24And he shall deliverוְנָתַ֤ןve.na.TanH5414their kingsמַלְכֵיהֶם֙mal.khei.HemH4428into thine handבְּיָדֶ֔ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027,and thou shalt destroyוְהַאֲבַדְתָּ֣ve.ha.'a.vad.TaH6their nameשְׁמָ֔םshe.MamH8034from under heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064:there shall no manאִישׁ֙'ishH376be able to standיִתְיַצֵּ֥בyit.ya.TzevH3320beforeבְּפָנֶ֔יךָbe.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee, until thou have destroyedהִשְׁמִֽדְךָ֖hish.mid.KhaH8045them.

25The graven imagesפְּסִילֵ֥יpe.si.LeiH6456of their godsאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430shall ye burnתִּשְׂרְפ֣וּןtis.re.FunH8313with fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784:thou shalt not desireתַחְמֹד֩tach.ModH2530the silverכֶּ֨סֶףKe.sefH3701or goldוְזָהָ֤בve.za.HavH2091that ison them, nor takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֣ve.la.kach.TaH3947itunto thee, lest thou be snaredתִּוָּקֵ֣שׁti.va.KeshH3369therein: for it isan abominationתוֹעֲבַ֛תto.'a.VatH8441to the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.

26Neither shalt thou bringתָבִ֤יאta.Vi'H935an abominationתֽוֹעֵבָה֙to.'e.VahH8441into thine houseבֵּיתֶ֔ךָbei.Te.khaH1004,lest thou be a cursed thingחֵ֖רֶםChe.remH2764like it: butthou shalt utterlyשַׁקֵּ֧ץ׀sha.KetzH8262detestתְּשַׁקְּצֶ֛נּוּte.shak.ke.Tze.nuH8262it, and thou shalt utterlyוְתַעֵ֥ב׀ve.ta.'EvH8581abhorתְּֽתַעֲבֶ֖נּוּte.ta.'a.Ve.nuH8581it; for it isa cursed thingחֵ֥רֶםChe.remH2764.
