1At that timeבָּעֵ֨תba.'EtH6256the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068saidאָמַ֧ר'a.MarH559unto me, Hewפְּסָל־pe.sol-H6458thee twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147tablesלֻוחֹ֤תlu.ChotH3871of stoneאֲבָנִים֙'a.va.NimH68like unto the firstכָּרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔יםka.Ri.sho.NimH7223,and come upוַעֲלֵ֥הva.'a.LehH5927unto me into the mountהָהָ֑רָהha.Ha.rahH2022,and makeוְעָשִׂ֥יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213thee an arkאֲר֥וֹן'a.RonH727of woodעֵֽץ׃'EtzH6086.

2And I will writeוְאֶכְתֹּב֙ve.'ekh.ToH3789on the tablesהַלֻּחֹ֔תha.lu.ChotH3871the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֔יםha.de.va.RimH1697that were in the firstהָרִאשֹׁנִ֖יםha.ri.sho.NimH7223tablesהַלֻּחֹ֥תha.lu.ChotH3871which thou brakestשִׁבַּ֑רְתָּshi.Bar.taH7665,and thou shalt putוְשַׂמְתָּ֖םve.sam.TamH7760them in the arkבָּאָרֽוֹן׃ba.'a.RonH727.

3And I madeוָאַ֤עַשׂva.'A.'asH6213an arkאֲרוֹן֙'a.rOnH727ofshittimשִׁטִּ֔יםshi.TimH7848woodעֲצֵ֣י'a.TzeiH6086,and hewedוָאֶפְסֹ֛לva.'ef.SolH6458twoשְׁנֵי־she.nei-H8147tablesלֻחֹ֥תlu.ChotH3871of stoneאֲבָנִ֖ים'a.va.NimH68like unto the firstכָּרִאשֹׁנִ֑יםka.ri.sho.NimH7223,and went upוָאַ֣עַלva.'A.'alH5927into the mountהָהָ֔רָהha.Ha.rahH2022,having the twoוּשְׁנֵ֥יu.she.NeiH8147tablesהַלֻּחֹ֖תha.lu.ChotH3871in mine handבְּיָדִֽי׃be.ya.DiH3027.

4And he wroteוַיִּכְתֹּ֨בvai.yikh.ToH3789on the tablesהַלֻּחֹ֜תha.lu.ChotH3871,according to the firstהָרִאשׁ֗וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223writingכַּמִּכְתָּ֣בka.mikh.TavH4385,the tenעֲשֶׂ֣רֶת'a.Se.retH6235commandmentsהַדְּבָרִ֔יםha.de.va.RimH1697,which the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068spakeדִּבֶּר֩di.BerH1696unto you in the mountבָּהָ֛רba.HarH2022out of the midstמִתּ֥וֹךְmi.TokhH8432of the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784in the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117of the assemblyהַקָּהָ֑לha.ka.HalH6951:and the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068gaveוַיִּתְּנֵ֥םvai.yi.te.NemH5414them unto me.

5And I turnedוָאֵ֗פֶןva.'E.fenH6437myself and came downוָֽאֵרֵד֙va.'e.RedH3381from the mountהָהָ֔רha.HarH2022,and putוָֽאָשִׂם֙va.'a.SimH7760the tablesהַלֻּחֹ֔תha.lu.ChotH3871in the arkבָּאָר֖וֹןba.'a.RonH727which I had madeעָשִׂ֑יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213;and there they be, as the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068commandedצִוַּ֖נִיtzi.Va.niH6680me.

6And the childrenוּבְנֵ֣יu.ve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478took their journeyנָֽסְע֛וּna.se.'UH5265from Beeroth of the children of JaakanH885to Moseraמוֹסֵרָ֑הmo.se.RahH4149:there Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175diedמֵ֤תmetH4191,and there he was buriedוַיִּקָּבֵ֣רvai.yi.ka.VerH6912;and Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֥ר'el.'a.ZarH499his sonבְּנ֖וֹbe.NoH1121ministered in the priest’s officeוַיְכַהֵ֛ןvay.kha.HenH3547in his stead.

7From thence they journeyedנָסְע֖וּna.se.'UH5265unto Gudgodahהַגֻּדְגֹּ֑דָהha.gud.Go.dahH1412;and from Gudgodahהַגֻּדְגֹּ֣דָהha.gud.Go.dahH1412to Jotbathיָטְבָ֔תָהya.te.Va.tahH3193,a landאֶ֖רֶץ'E.retzH776of riversנַ֥חֲלֵיNa.cha.leiH5158of watersמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325.

8At that timeבָּעֵ֣תba.'EtH6256the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068separatedהִבְדִּ֤ילhiv.DilH914the tribeשֵׁ֣בֶטShe.vetH7626of Leviהַלֵּוִ֔יha.le.ViH3878,to bearלָשֵׂ֖אתla.SetH5375the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,to standלַעֲמֹד֩la.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֨יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068to ministerלְשָֽׁרְתוֹ֙le.sha.re.ToH8334unto him, and to blessוּלְבָרֵ֣ךְu.le.va.RekhH1288in his nameבִּשְׁמ֔וֹbish.MoH8034,unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

9Wherefore LeviH3878hath no partחֵ֥לֶקChe.lekH2506nor inheritanceוְנַחֲלָ֖הve.na.cha.LahH5159with his brethrenאֶחָ֑יו'e.ChavH251;the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068ishis inheritanceנַחֲלָת֔וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159,according as the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430promisedדִּבֶּ֛רdi.BerH1696him.

10And I stayedעָמַ֣דְתִּי'a.Mad.tiH5975in the mountבָהָ֗רva.HarH2022,according to the firstהָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔יםha.Ri.sho.NimH7223timeכַּיָּמִים֙kai.ya.MimH3117,fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysי֔וֹםYomH3117and fortyוְאַרְבָּעִ֖יםve.'ar.ba.'ImH705nightsלָ֑יְלָהLa.ye.lahH3915;and the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068hearkenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֨עvai.yish.Ma'H8085unto me at that timeבַּפַּ֣עַםba.Pa.'amH6471also, andthe Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068wouldאָבָ֥ה'a.VahH14not destroyהַשְׁחִיתֶֽךָ׃hash.chi.Te.khaH7843thee.

11And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto me, Ariseק֛וּםkumH6965,takeH3212thyjourneyלְמַסַּ֖עle.ma.Sa'H4550beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,that they may go inוְיָבֹ֙אוּ֙ve.ya.Vo.'uH935and possessוְיִֽרְשׁ֣וּve.yir.ShuH3423the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,which I swareנִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650unto their fathersלַאֲבֹתָ֖םla.'a.vo.TamH1to giveלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414unto them.

12And now, Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,what doth the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430requireשֹׁאֵ֖לsho.'ElH7592of thee, but to fearלְ֠יִרְאָהLe.yir.'ahH3372the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,to walkH3212in all his waysדְּרָכָיו֙de.ra.KhavH1870,and to loveוּלְאַהֲבָ֣הu.le.'a.ha.VahH157him, and to serveוְלַֽעֲבֹד֙ve.la.'a.VodH5647the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430with all thy heartלְבָבְךָ֖le.va.ve.KhaH3824and with all thy soulנַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃naf.She.khaH5315,

13To keepלִשְׁמֹ֞רlish.MorH8104the commandmentsמִצְוֹ֤תmitz.VotH4687of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,and his statutesחֻקֹּתָ֔יוchu.ko.TavH2708,which I commandמְצַוְּךָ֖me.tza.ve.KhaH6680thee this dayהַיּ֑וֹםhai.YomH3117for thy goodלְט֖וֹבle.TovH2896?

14Behold, the heavenהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and the heavenוּשְׁמֵ֣יu.she.MeiH8064of heavensהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064isthe Lord’sלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776also, with all that therein is.

15Only the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had a delightחָשַׁ֥קcha.ShakH2836in thy fathersבַּאֲבֹתֶ֛יךָba.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1to loveלְאַהֲבָ֣הle.'a.ha.VahH157them, and he choseוַיִּבְחַ֞רvai.yiv.CharH977their seedבְּזַרְעָ֣םbe.zar.'AmH2233afterאַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם'a.cha.rei.HemH310them, evenyou above all peopleהָעַמִּ֖יםha.'a.MimH5971, as it isthis dayכַּיּ֥וֹםkai.YomH3117.

16Circumciseוּמַלְתֶּ֕םu.mal.TemH4135therefore the foreskinעָרְלַ֣ת'a.re.LatH6190of your heartלְבַבְכֶ֑םle.vav.KhemH3824,and be no more stiffneckedוְעָ֨רְפְּכֶ֔ם תַקְשׁ֖וּve.'A.re.pe.Khem tak.ShuH7185 H6203.

17For the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430isGodאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of godsהָֽאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and Lordוַאֲדֹנֵ֖יva.'a.do.NeiH113of lordsהָאֲדֹנִ֑יםha.'a.do.NimH113,a greatהַגָּדֹ֤לha.ga.DolH1419Godהָאֵ֨לha.'ElH410,a mightyהַגִּבֹּר֙ha.gi.BorH1368,and a terribleוְהַנּוֹרָ֔אve.ha.no.Ra'H3372,which regardethיִשָּׂ֣אyi.Sa'H5375not personsפָנִ֔יםfa.NimH6440,nor takethיִקַּ֖חyi.KachH3947rewardשֹֽׁחַד׃Sho.chadH7810:

21He isthy praiseתְהִלָּתְךָ֖te.hi.la.te.KhaH8416, and he isthy Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,that hath doneעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213for thee these greatהַגְּדֹלֹ֤תha.ge.do.LotH1419and terrible thingsהַנּֽוֹרָאֹת֙ha.no.ra.'OtH3372,which thine eyesעֵינֶֽיךָ׃'ei.Nei.khaH5869have seenרָא֖וּra.'UH7200.
