Joshua 10:3-7
Therefore Adoni-zedekH139 kingH4428 of JerusalemH3389 sentH7971 word toH413 HohamH1944 kingH4428 of HebronH2275H413, PiramH6502 kingH4428 of JarmuthH3412H413, JaphiaH3309 kingH4428 of LachishH3923H413, and DebirH1688 kingH4428 of EglonH5700, sayingH559, 4“Come upH5927H413 and help meH5826. We will attackH5221 GibeonH1391, becauseH3588 they have made peaceH7999 withH854 JoshuaH3091H854 and the IsraelitesH1121H3478.”
So the fiveH2568 kingsH4428 of the AmoritesH567—the kingsH4428 of JerusalemH3389H4428, HebronH2275H4428, JarmuthH3412H4428, LachishH3923H4428, and EglonH5700H1992—joined forcesH622 and advancedH5927 with allH3605 their armiesH4264. They campedH2583 beforeH5921 GibeonH1391 and made warH3898 against itH5921.
Then the menH582 of GibeonH1391 sentH7971 word toH413 JoshuaH3091 inH413 the campH4264 at GilgalH1537H559: “Do notH408 abandonH7503H3027 your servantsH5650. ComeH5927 quicklyH4120 and saveH3467 us! Help usH5826, becauseH3588 allH3605 the kingsH4428 of the AmoritesH567 fromH3427 the hill countryH2022 have joined forcesH6908 against usH413.”
So JoshuaH3091 and his wholeH3605 armyH4421H5973H5971, including allH3605 the mighty menH1368 of valorH2428, cameH5927 fromH4480 GilgalH1537.
