4Just thenוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009Boazבֹ֗עַזVo.'azH1162arrivedבָּ֚אba'H935fromמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1035Bethlehemלֶ֔חֶםLe.chemH1035and saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the harvestersלַקּוֹצְרִ֖יםla.kotz.RimH7114, “The LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068be with youעִמָּכֶ֑ם'i.ma.KhemH5973.” “The LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068bless youיְבָרֶכְךָ֥ye.va.rekh.KhaH1288,”they repliedוַיֹּ֥אמְרוּvai.Yo.me.ruH559.

5And Boazבֹּ֙עַז֙bo.'azH1162askedוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559the foremanלְנַעֲר֔וֹ הַנִּצָּ֖בle.na.'a.Ro ha.ni.TzavH5288 H5324ofעַל־'al-H5921his harvestersהַקּֽוֹצְרִ֑יםha.kotz.RimH7114, “Whoseלְמִ֖יle.MiH4310young womanהַנַּעֲרָ֥הha.na.'a.RahH5291is thisהַזֹּֽאת׃ha.ZotH2063?”

6The foremanהַנַּ֛עַר הַנִּצָּ֥ב עַל־ הַקּוֹצְרִ֖ים וַיֹּאמַ֑רha.Na.'ar ha.ni.Tzav 'al- ha.kotz.Rim vai.yo.MarH5288 H5324 H5921 H7114 H559answeredוַיַּ֗עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030, “Sheהִ֔יאHi'H1931isthe Moabitessנַעֲרָ֤ה מֽוֹאֲבִיָּה֙na.'a.Rah mo.'a.vi.YahH4125 H5291who returnedהַשָּׁ֥בָהha.Sha.vahH7725withעִֽם־'im-H5973Naomiנָעֳמִ֖יno.'o.MiH5281from the landמִשְּׂדֵ֥הmi.se.DehH7704of Moabמוֹאָֽב׃mo.'AvH4124.

7She has saidוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, ‘Pleaseנָּא֙na'H4994let me gleanאֲלַקֳטָה־'a.la.ko.tah-H3950and gatherוְאָסַפְתִּ֣יve.'a.saf.TiH622among the sheavesבָֽעֳמָרִ֔יםvo.'o.ma.RimH6016afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310the harvestersהַקּוֹצְרִ֑יםha.kotz.RimH7114.’So she came outוַתָּב֣וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935and has continuedוַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹדva.ta.'a.ModH5975fromמֵאָ֤זme.'AzH227morningהַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ha.Bo.kerH1242untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעַ֔תָּה'A.tahH6258,exceptזֶ֛הzehH2088that she restedשִׁבְתָּ֥הּshiv.TahH3427a short timeמְעָֽט׃me.'AtH4592in the shelterהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004.”

8Then Boazבֹּ֨עַזBo.'azH1162saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559toאֶל־'el-H413Ruthר֜וּתrutH7327הֲל֧וֹאha.Lo'H3808, “Listenשָׁמַ֣עַתְּsha.Ma.'atH8085,my daughterבִּתִּ֗יbi.TiH1323.Do notאַל־'al-H408goתֵּלְכִי֙te.le.KhiH1980and gleanלִלְקֹט֙lil.KotH3950in anotherאַחֵ֔ר'a.CherH312fieldבְּשָׂדֶ֣הbe.sa.DehH7704,andוְגַ֛םve.GamH1571do notלֹ֥אlo'H3808go awayתַעֲבוּרִ֖יta.'a.vu.RiH5674from thisמִזֶּ֑הmi.ZehH2088place,but stay hereוְכֹ֥הve.KhohH3541closeתִדְבָּקִ֖יןtid.ba.KinH1692toעִם־'im-H5973my servant girlsנַעֲרֹתָֽי׃na.'a.ro.TaiH5291.

9Letyour eyesעֵינַ֜יִךְ'ei.Na.yikhH5869be on theאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֤הba.sa.DehH7704they are harvestingיִקְצֹרוּן֙yik.tzo.RunH7114,and follow alongוְהָלַ֣כְתִּve.ha.LakhtH1980afterאַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ן'a.cha.rei.HenH310these girls.Indeedהֲל֥וֹאha.Lo'H3808,I have orderedצִוִּ֛יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680אֶת־'et-H853the young menהַנְּעָרִ֖יםha.ne.'a.RimH5288notלְבִלְתִּ֣יle.vil.TiH1115to touch youנָגְעֵ֑ךְna.ge.'EkhH5060.And when you are thirstyוְצָמִ֗תve.tza.MitH6770,goוְהָלַכְתְּ֙ אֶל־ve.ha.lakhT 'el-H1980 H413and drinkוְשָׁתִ֕יתve.sha.TitH8354fromמֵאֲשֶׁ֥רme.'a.SherH834the jarsהַכֵּלִ֔יםha.ke.LimH3627the young menהַנְּעָרִֽים׃ha.ne.'a.RimH5288have filledיִשְׁאֲב֖וּןyish.'a.VunH7579.”

10At this, she fellוַתִּפֹּל֙va.ti.PolH5307onעַל־'al-H5921her faceפָּנֶ֔יהָpa.Nei.haH6440,bowing lowוַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּva.tish.Ta.chuH7812to the groundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776,and saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559to himאֵלָ֗יו'e.LavH413, “Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069have I foundמָצָ֨אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672such favorחֵ֤ןchenH2580in your eyesבְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙be.'ei.Nei.khaH5869that you should take notice of meלְהַכִּירֵ֔נִיle.ha.ki.Re.niH5234,even though Iוְאָּנֹכִ֖יve.'a.no.KhiH595ama foreignerנָכְרִיָּֽה׃na.khe.ri.YahH5237?”
