4Now beholdוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009,Boazבֹ֗עַזVo.'azH1162cameבָּ֚אba'H935from BethlehemH1035and saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the reapersלַקּוֹצְרִ֖יםla.kotz.RimH7114, “May the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068be with you.” And they saidוַיֹּ֥אמְרוּvai.Yo.me.ruH559to him, “May the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068blessיְבָרֶכְךָ֥ye.va.rekh.KhaH1288you.”

5Then Boazבֹּ֙עַז֙bo.'azH1162saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his servantלְנַעֲר֔וֹle.na.'a.RoH5288who wasin chargeהַנִּצָּ֖בha.ni.TzavH5324of the reapersהַקּֽוֹצְרִ֑יםha.kotz.RimH7114, “Whoseלְמִ֖יle.MiH4310youngהַנַּעֲרָ֥הha.na.'a.RahH5291womanH5291is thisH2088?”

6The servantהַנַּ֛עַרha.Na.'arH5288in chargeהַנִּצָּ֥בha.ni.TzavH5324of the reapersהַקּוֹצְרִ֖יםha.kotz.RimH7114repliedוַיַּ֗עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030, “She is the youngנַעֲרָ֤הna.'a.RahH5291Moabiteמֽוֹאֲבִיָּה֙mo.'a.vi.YahH4125womanH5291who returnedהַשָּׁ֥בָהha.Sha.vahH7725with Naomiנָעֳמִ֖יno.'o.MiH5281from the landמִשְּׂדֵ֥הmi.se.DehH7704of Moabמוֹאָֽב׃mo.'AvH4124.

7And she saidוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, ‘Pleaseנָּא֙na'H4994let me gleanאֲלַקֳטָה־'a.la.ko.tah-H3950and gatherוְאָסַפְתִּ֣יve.'a.saf.TiH622afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310the reapersהַקּוֹצְרִ֑יםha.kotz.RimH7114among the sheavesבָֽעֳמָרִ֔יםvo.'o.ma.RimH6016.’Thus she cameוַתָּב֣וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935and has remainedוַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹדva.ta.'a.ModH5975from the morningהַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ha.Bo.kerH1242untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעַ֔תָּה'A.tahH6258;she has been sittingשִׁבְתָּ֥הּshiv.TahH3427in the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004for a littleמְעָֽט׃me.'AtH4592whileH4592.”

8Then Boazבֹּ֨עַזBo.'azH1162saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559to Ruthר֜וּתrutH7327, “Listenשָׁמַ֣עַתְּsha.Ma.'atH8085carefullyH3808,my daughterבִּתִּ֗יbi.TiH1323.Do not goתֵּלְכִי֙te.le.KhiH1980to gleanלִלְקֹט֙lil.KotH3950in anotherאַחֵ֔ר'a.CherH312fieldבְּשָׂדֶ֣הbe.sa.DehH7704;furthermoreוְגַ֛םve.GamH1571,do not goתַעֲבוּרִ֖יta.'a.vu.RiH5674on from thisH2088oneH2088,but stayתִדְבָּקִ֖יןtid.ba.KinH1692hereוְכֹ֥הve.KhohH3541with my maidsנַעֲרֹתָֽי׃na.'a.ro.TaiH5291.

9Let your eyesעֵינַ֜יִךְ'ei.Na.yikhH5869be on the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֤הba.sa.DehH7704whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they reapיִקְצֹרוּן֙yik.tzo.RunH7114,and goוְהָלַ֣כְתִּve.ha.LakhtH1980afterאַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ן'a.cha.rei.HenH310them. Indeedהֲל֥וֹאha.Lo'H3808,I have commandedצִוִּ֛יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680the servantsהַנְּעָרִ֖יםha.ne.'a.RimH5288not to touchנָגְעֵ֑ךְna.ge.'EkhH5060you. When you are thirstyוְצָמִ֗תve.tza.MitH6770,goוְהָלַכְתְּ֙ve.ha.lakhTH1980to thewaterH3267jarsהַכֵּלִ֔יםha.ke.LimH3627and drinkוְשָׁתִ֕יתve.sha.TitH8354from whatמֵאֲשֶׁ֥רme.'a.SherH834the servantsהַנְּעָרִֽים׃ha.ne.'a.RimH5288drawיִשְׁאֲב֖וּןyish.'a.VunH7579.”

10Then shefellוַתִּפֹּל֙va.ti.PolH5307on her faceפָּנֶ֔יהָpa.Nei.haH6440,bowingוַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּva.tish.Ta.chuH7812to the groundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776and saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559to him, “Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069have I foundמָצָ֨אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672favorחֵ֤ןchenH2580in your sightבְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙be.'ei.Nei.khaH5869that you should takeH5234noticeH5234of me, since I am a foreignerנָכְרִיָּֽה׃na.khe.ri.YahH5237?”
