1“Beholdהִנְנִ֤יhi.NiH2005,I will sendשֹׁלֵחַ֙sho.le.aChH7971My messengerמַלְאָכִ֔יmal.'a.KhiH4397,who will prepareוּפִנָּה־u.fi.nah-H6437the wayדֶ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870before Meלְפָנָ֑יle.fa.NaiH6440.Then the Lordהָאָד֣וֹן׀ha.'a.DonH113whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834youאַתֶּ֣ם'a.TemH859seekמְבַקְשִׁ֗יםme.vak.ShimH1245will suddenlyוּפִתְאֹם֩u.fit.'OmH6597comeיָב֨וֹאya.Vo'H935toאֶל־'el-H413His templeהֵיכָל֜וֹhei.kha.LoH1964—the Messengerוּמַלְאַ֨ךְu.mal.'AkhH4397of the covenantהַבְּרִ֜יתha.be.RitH1285,in whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834youאַתֶּ֤ם'a.TemH859delightחֲפֵצִים֙cha.fe.TzimH2655—seeהִנֵּה־hi.neh-H2009,He is comingבָ֔אVa'H935,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

2But whoוּמִ֤יu.MiH4310can endureמְכַלְכֵּל֙me.khal.KelH3557אֶת־'et-H853the dayי֣וֹםYomH3117of His comingבּוֹא֔וֹbo.'OH935?And whoוּמִ֥יu.MiH4310can standהָעֹמֵ֖דha.'o.MedH5975when He appearsבְּהֵרָֽאוֹת֑וֹbe.he.ra.'o.ToH7200?Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588Heהוּא֙hu'H1931will be like a refiner’sמְצָרֵ֔ףme.tza.RefH6884fireכְּאֵ֣שׁke.'EshH784, likea launderer’sמְכַבְּסִֽים׃me.kha.be.SimH3526soapוּכְבֹרִ֖יתu.khe.vo.RitH1287.

3And He will sitוְיָשַׁ֨בve.ya.ShavH3427as a refinerמְצָרֵ֤ףme.tza.RefH6884and purifierוּמְטַהֵר֙u.me.ta.HerH2891of silverכֶּ֔סֶףKe.sefH3701;He will purifyוְטִהַ֤רve.ti.HarH2891אֶת־'et-H853the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Leviלֵוִי֙le.ViH3878and refineוְזִקַּ֣קve.zi.KakH2212themאֹתָ֔ם'o.TamH853like goldכַּזָּהָ֖בka.za.HavH2091and silverוְכַכָּ֑סֶף וְהָיוּ֙ve.kha.Ka.sef ve.ha.YuH3701 H1961.Then they will presentמַגִּישֵׁ֥יma.gi.SheiH5066offeringsמִנְחָ֖הmin.ChahH4503to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068in righteousnessבִּצְדָקָֽה׃bitz.da.KahH6666.

4Then the offeringsמִנְחַ֥תmin.ChatH4503of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063and Jerusalemוִירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םvi.ru.sha.LimH3389will pleaseוְעָֽרְבָה֙ve.'a.re.VahH6149the LORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,as in daysכִּימֵ֣יki.MeiH3117of oldעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769and yearsוּכְשָׁנִ֖יםu.khe.sha.NimH8141gone byקַדְמֹנִיּֽוֹת׃kad.mo.ni.YotH6931.

5“Then I will draw nearוְקָרַבְתִּ֣יve.ka.rav.TiH7126to youאֲלֵיכֶם֮'a.lei.KhemH413for judgmentלַמִּשְׁפָּט֒la.mish.PatH4941.And I will beוְהָיִ֣יתִי׀ve.ha.Yi.tiH1961a swiftמְמַהֵ֗רme.ma.HerH4116witnessעֵ֣ד'edH5707against sorcerersבַּֽמְכַשְּׁפִים֙bam.kha.she.FimH3784and adulterersוּבַמְנָ֣אֲפִ֔יםu.vam.Na.'a.FimH5003andוּבַנִּשְׁבָּעִ֖יםu.va.nish.ba.'ImH7650perjurersלַשָּׁ֑קֶרla.Sha.kerH8267,against oppressorsוּבְעֹשְׁקֵ֣יu.ve.'o.she.KeiH6231of the widowedאַלְמָנָ֨ה'al.ma.NahH490and fatherlessוְיָת֤וֹםve.ya.TomH3490,and against those who defraud laborersשְׂכַר־se.kha.r.Sa-H7939of their wagesשָׂ֠כִירSa.khirH7916and deny justiceוּמַטֵּי־u.ma.tei-H5186to the foreignerגֵר֙gerH1616but do notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808fear Meיְרֵא֔וּנִיye.re.'U.niH3372,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

6“Becauseכִּ֛יkiH3588Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,do notלֹ֣אlo'H3808changeשָׁנִ֑יתִיsha.Ni.tiH8138,youוְאַתֶּ֥םve.'a.TemH859descendantsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290have notלֹ֥אlo'H3808been destroyedכְלִיתֶֽם׃khe.li.TemH3615.

7Yet from the daysלְמִימֵ֨יle.mi.MeiH3117of your fathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֜ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1,you have turned awayסַרְתֶּ֤םsar.TemH5493from My statutesמֵֽחֻקַּי֙me.chu.KaiH2706and have notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808kept themשְׁמַרְתֶּ֔םshe.mar.TemH8104.Returnשׁ֤וּבוּShu.vuH7725to Meאֵלַי֙'e.LaiH413,and I will returnוְאָשׁ֣וּבָהve.'a.Shu.vahH7725to youאֲלֵיכֶ֔ם'a.lei.KhemH413,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635. “But you askוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘Howבַּמֶּ֥הba.MehH4100can we returnנָשֽׁוּב׃na.ShuvH7725?’

8Will a manאָדָ֜ם'a.DamH120robהֲיִקְבַּ֨עha.yik.Ba'H6906Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430?Yetכִּ֤יkiH3588youאַתֶּם֙'a.TemH859are robbingקֹבְעִ֣יםkoe.'ImH6906Meאֹתִ֔י'o.TiH853!But you askוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘Howבַּמֶּ֣הba.MehH4100do we rob Youקְבַעֲנ֑וּךָke.va.'a.Nu.chaH6906?’In tithesהַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֖רha.ma.'a.SerH4643and offeringsוְהַתְּרוּמָֽה׃ve.ha.te.ru.MahH8641.

9Youאַתֶּ֣ם'a.TemH859are cursedנֵֽאָרִ֔יםne.'a.RimH779וְאֹתִ֖יve.'o.TiH853with a curseבַּמְּאֵרָה֙ba.me.'e.RahH3994,yet youאַתֶּ֣ם'a.TemH859—the wholeכֻּלּֽוֹ׃ku.LoH3605nationהַגּ֖וֹיha.GoyH1471—are still robbing Meקֹבְעִ֑יםkoe.'ImH6906.

10Bringהָבִ֨יאוּha.Vi.'uH935אֶת־'et-H853the fullכָּל־kol-H3605titheהַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֜רha.ma.'a.SerH4643intoאֶל־'el-H413the storehouseבֵּ֣ית הָאוֹצָ֗רbeit ha.'o.TzarH1004 H214,so that there may beוִיהִ֥יvi.HiH1961foodטֶ֙רֶף֙te.refH2964in My houseבְּבֵיתִ֔יbe.vei.TiH1004.Test Meוּבְחָנ֤וּנִי נָא֙u.ve.cha.Nu.ni na'H974 H4994in thisבָּזֹ֔אתba.ZotH2063,”saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635. “See ifאִם־'im-H518I will notלֹ֧אlo'H3808openאֶפְתַּ֣ח'ef.TachH6605אֵ֚ת'etH853the windowsאֲרֻבּ֣וֹת'a.ru.BotH699of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and pour outוַהֲרִיקֹתִ֥יva.ha.ri.ko.TiH7324for youblessingבְּרָכָ֖ה עַד־be.ra.Khah 'ad-H1293 H5704withoutבְּלִי־be.li-H1097measureדָֽי׃DaiH1767.
