8Then Manoahמָנ֛וֹחַma.No.achH4495prayedוַיֶּעְתַּ֥רvai.ye'.TarH6279toאֶל־'el-H413the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068וַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559, “Pleaseבִּ֣יbiH994,O Lordאֲדוֹנָ֔י'a.do.NaiH136,let the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֞יםha.'E.lo.HimH430אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834You sent usשָׁלַ֗חְתָּsha.Lach.taH7971comeיָבוֹא־ נָ֥אya.Vo'- na'H935 H4994to usאֵלֵ֔ינוּ'e.Lei.nuH413againעוֹד֙'OdH5750to teach usוְיוֹרֵ֕נוּve.yo.Re.nuH3384howמַֽה־mah-H4100to raiseנַּעֲשֶׂ֖הna.'a.SehH6213the boyלַנַּ֥עַרla.Na.'arH5288who is to be bornהַיּוּלָּֽד׃hai.yu.LadH3205.”

9And Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430listenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֥עvai.yish.Ma'H8085to the voiceבְּק֣וֹלbe.KolH6963of Manoahמָנ֑וֹחַma.No.achH4495,and the angelמַלְאַךְ֩mal.'aKhH4397of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֨יםha.'E.lo.HimH430returnedוַיָּבֹ֣א ע֜וֹדvai.ya.Vo' odH935 H5750toאֶל־'el-H413the womanהָאִשָּׁ֗הha.'i.ShahH802as sheוְהִיא֙ve.Hi'H1931was sittingיוֹשֶׁ֣בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704;but her husbandאִישָׁ֖הּ'i.ShahH376Manoahוּמָנ֥וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495was notאֵ֥ין'einH369with herעִמָּֽהּ׃'i.MahH5973.

10The womanלְאִישָׁ֑הּle.'i.ShahH376ranוַתָּ֖רָץ וַתַּגֵּ֣דva.Ta.rotz va.ta.GedH7323 H5046quicklyוַתְּמַהֵר֙va.te.ma.HerH4116to tellוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559אֵלָ֔יו'e.LavH413her husbandהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802, “Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834cameבָּ֥אba'H935to meאֵלַי֙'e.LaiH413the other dayבַיּ֖וֹםvai.YomH3117has reappearedנִרְאָ֤ה אֵלָֽי׃nir.'Ah 'e.LaiH7200 H413!”

11So Manoahמָנ֖וֹחַma.No.achH4495got upוַיָּ֛קָםvai.Ya.komH6965and followedוַיֵּ֥לֶךְ אַחֲרֵ֣יvai.Ye.lekh 'a.cha.ReiH1980 H310his wifeאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ'ish.ToH802.When he cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935toאֶל־'el-H413the manהָאִ֔ישׁha.'IshH376,he askedוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Are youהַאַתָּ֥הha.'a.TahH859the manהָאִ֛ישׁha.'IshH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834spokeדִּבַּ֥רְתָּdi.Bar.taH1696toאֶל־'el-H413my wifeהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802?” “Iאָֽנִי׃'A.niH589am,” he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.

12Then Manoahמָנ֔וֹחַma.No.achH4495askedוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whenעַתָּ֖ה'a.TahH6258your wordsדְבָרֶ֑יךָde.va.Rei.khaH1697come to passיָבֹ֣אya.Vo'H935,whatמַה־mah-H4100will beיִּֽהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961the boy’sהַנַּ֖עַרha.Na.'arH5288rule of lifeמִשְׁפַּט־mish.pat-H4941and missionוּמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃u.ma.'a.Se.huH4639?”

13So the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖ה אֶל־Yah.weh 'el-H3068 H413answeredוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Manoahמָנ֑וֹחַma.No.achH4495, “Your wifeהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802is to doתִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃ti.sha.MerH8104everythingמִכֹּ֛לmi.KolH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I told herאָמַ֥רְתִּי אֶל־'a.Mar.ti 'el-H559 H413.

14She must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808eatתֹאכַ֗לto.KhalH398anythingמִכֹּ֣לmi.KolH3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834comesיֵצֵא֩ye.Tze'H3318from the vineמִגֶּ֨פֶן הַיַּ֜יִןmi.Ge.fen hai.Ya.yinH1612 H3196,nor drinkתֵּ֔שְׁתְּTe.shetH8354any wineוְיַ֤יִןve.Ya.yinH3196or strong drinkוְשֵׁכָר֙ve.she.KharH7941,norאַל־'al-H408eatתֹּאכַ֑לto.KhalH398anythingוְכָל־ve.kholH3605uncleanטֻמְאָ֖ה אַל־tum.'Ah 'al-H2932 H408.She must doתִּשְׁמֹֽר׃tish.MorH8104everythingכֹּ֥לkolH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I have commanded herצִוִּיתִ֖יהָtzi.vi.Ti.haH6680.”
