2“This is whatכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559:Standעֲמֹד֮'a.ModH5975in the courtyardבַּחֲצַ֣רba.cha.TzarH2691of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָה֒Yah.wehH3068and speakוְדִבַּרְתָּ֞ עַל־ve.di.bar.Ta 'al-H1696 H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֔יםha.de.va.RimH1697אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I have commandedצִוִּיתִ֖יךָtzi.vi.Ti.khaH6680you to speakלְדַבֵּ֣רle.da.BerH1696אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם'a.lei.HemH413to allכָּל־kol-H3605the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063who comeהַבָּאִים֙ha.ba.'ImH935to worshipלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֣תle.hish.ta.cha.VotH7812thereבֵּית־ יְהוָ֔הbeit- Yah.wehH1004 H3068אֵ֚ת'etH853.Do notאַל־'al-H408omitתִּגְרַ֖עtig.Ra'H1639a wordדָּבָֽר׃da.VarH1697.

3Perhapsאוּלַ֣י'u.LaiH194they will listenיִשְׁמְע֔וּyish.me.'UH8085and turnוְיָשֻׁ֕בוּve.ya.Shu.vuH7725—eachאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376from his evilהָרָעָ֑הha.ra.'AhH7451way of lifeמִדַּרְכּ֣וֹmi.dar.KoH1870—so that I may relentוְנִחַמְתִּ֣יve.ni.cham.TiH5162ofאֶל־'el-H413the disasterהָרָעָ֗הha.ra.'AhH7451אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834Iאָנֹכִ֤י'a.no.KhiH595am planningחֹשֵׁב֙cho.ShevH2803to bringלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213upon thembecause ofמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the evilרֹ֥עַRo.a'H7455of their deedsמַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ma.'a.lei.HemH4611.

4And you are to tell themוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559thatאֲלֵיהֶ֔ם'a.lei.HemH413this is whatכֹּ֖הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘Ifאִם־'im-H518you do notלֹ֤אlo'H3808listenתִשְׁמְעוּ֙tish.me.'UH8085to Meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413and walkלָלֶ֙כֶת֙la.Le.khetH1980in My lawבְּת֣וֹרָתִ֔יbe.To.ra.TiH8451,whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I have setנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414before youלִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃lif.nei.KhemH6440,

5and if you do not listenלִשְׁמֹ֗עַlish.Mo.a'H8085toעַל־'al-H5921the wordsדִּבְרֵ֨יdiv.ReiH1697of My servantsעֲבָדַ֣י'a.va.DaiH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,whomאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Iאָנֹכִ֖י'a.no.KhiH595have sentשֹׁלֵ֣חַsho.Le.achH7971youאֲלֵיכֶ֑ם'a.lei.KhemH413againוְהַשְׁכֵּ֥םve.hash.KemH7925and againוְשָׁלֹ֖חַve.sha.Lo.achH7971even though you did notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808listenשְׁמַעְתֶּֽם׃she.ma'.TemH8085,

6then I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֛יve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088houseהַבַּ֥יִתha.Ba.yitH1004like Shilohכְּשִׁלֹ֑הke.shi.LohH7887,andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853I will makeאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414thisהַזֹּאת֙ha.zo.tahH2063cityהָעִ֤ירha.'IrH5892an object of cursingלִקְלָלָ֔הlik.la.LahH7045among allלְכֹ֖לle.KholH3605the nationsגּוֹיֵ֥יgo.YeiH1471of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ סha.'A.retzH776.’”

7Now the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֥יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and prophetsוְהַנְּבִאִ֖יםve.ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971אֶֽת־'et-H853heardוַֽיִּשְׁמְע֛וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֔הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414speakingמְדַבֵּ֛רme.da.BerH1696אֶת־'et-H853theseהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֥יםha.de.va.RimH1697in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068,

8and as soon asוַיְהִ֣י׀vay.HiH1961heיִרְמְיָ֗הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414had finishedכְּכַלּ֣וֹתke.kha.LotH3615tellingלְדַבֵּר֙le.da.BerH1696אֵ֣ת'etH853allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971everythingכָּל־kol-H3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068had commanded himצִוָּ֣הtzi.VahH6680to sayלְדַבֵּ֖רle.da.BerH1696אֶל־'el-H413,the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֧יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and prophetsוְהַנְּבִאִ֛יםve.ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971seized himוַיִּתְפְּשׂ֨וּvai.yit.pe.SuH8610אֹת֜וֹ'o.ToH853,shoutingלֵאמֹ֖רle.MorH559, “You must surely dieH4191!

9Howמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069dare you prophesyנִבֵּ֨יתָni.Bei.taH5012in the nameבְשֵׁם־ve.shem-H8034of the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068thatלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088houseהַבַּ֣יִתha.Ba.yitH1004will becomeיִֽהְיֶה֙yih.YehH1961like Shilohכְּשִׁלוֹ֙ke.shi.LoH7887and thisהַזֹּ֛אתha.ZotH2063cityוְהָעִ֥ירve.ha.'IrH5892will be desolateמֵאֵ֣ין יוֹשֵׁ֑בme.'Ein yo.ShevH369 H3427and desertedתֶּחֱרַ֖בte.che.RavH2717!”And allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971assembledוַיִּקָּהֵ֧לvai.yi.ka.HelH6950againstאֶֽל־'el-H413Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
