6Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588this is whatכֹ֣ה׀khohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559concerningעַל־'al-H5921the houseבֵּית֙beitH1004of the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063: “Youאַתָּ֛ה'a.TahH859are like Gileadגִּלְעָ֥דgil.'AdH1568to Me,like the summitרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218of Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֑וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844;but I will surelyאִם־ לֹ֤א'im- lo'H518 H3808turn youאֲשִֽׁיתְךָ֙'a.shi.te.KhaH7896into a desertמִדְבָּ֔רmid.BarH4057,like citiesעָרִ֖ים'a.RimH5892that are uninhabitedלֹ֥א נוֹשָֽׁבוּ׃lo' no.sha.vahH3808 H3427.

7I will appointוְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֥יve.ki.dash.TiH6942destroyersמַשְׁחִתִ֖יםmash.chi.TimH7843against youעָלֶ֛יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921,each manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376with his weaponsוְכֵלָ֑יוve.khe.LavH3627,and they will cut downוְכָֽרְתוּ֙ve.kha.re.TuH3772the choicestמִבְחַ֣רmiv.CharH4005of your cedarsאֲרָזֶ֔יךָ'a.ra.Zei.khaH730and throw themוְהִפִּ֖ילוּve.hi.Pi.luH5307intoעַל־'al-H5921the fireהָאֵֽשׁ׃ha.'EshH784.

8And manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227nationsגּוֹיִ֣םgo.YimH1471will passוְעָֽבְרוּ֙ve.'a.ve.RuH5674byעַ֖ל'alH5921thisהַזֹּ֑אתha.ZotH2063cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892and askוְאָֽמְרוּ֙ve.'a.me.RuH559oneאִ֣ישׁ אֶל־'ish 'el-H376 H413anotherרֵעֵ֔הוּre.'E.huH7453, ‘Whyעַל־ מֶ֨ה'al- mehH5921 H4100has the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068doneעָשָׂ֤ה'a.SahH6213such a thingכָּ֔כָהKa.khahH3602to thisהַזֹּֽאת׃ha.ZotH2063greatהַגְּדוֹלָ֖הha.ge.do.LahH1419cityלָעִ֥ירla.'IrH5892?’

9Then people will replyוְאָ֣מְר֔וּve.'A.me.RuH559, ‘Becauseעַ֚ל'alH5921אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they have forsakenעָֽזְב֔וּ'a.ze.VuH5800אֶת־'et-H853the covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430and have worshipedוַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֛וּvai.yish.ta.cha.VuH7812and servedוַיַּעַבְדֽוּם׃ סvai.ya.'av.DumH5647otherאֲחֵרִ֖ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֥יםle.lo.HimH430.’”
