2“Go downוְיָרַדְתָּ֖ve.ya.rad.TaH3381at onceק֥וּםkumH6965to the potter’sהַיּוֹצֵ֑רhai.yo.TzerH3335houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004,and thereוְשָׁ֖מָּהve.Sha.mahH8033I will give youאַשְׁמִֽיעֲךָ֥'ash.mi.'a.KhaH8085אֶת־'et-H853My messageדְּבָרָֽי׃de.va.RaiH1697.”

3So I went downוָאֵרֵ֖דva.'e.RedH3381to the potter’sהַיּוֹצֵ֑רhai.yo.TzerH3335houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004and saw himוְהִנֵּה־ה֛וּאve.hi.neh-hu'H2009workingעֹשֶׂ֥ה מְלָאכָ֖ה'o.Seh me.la.KhahH6213 H4399atעַל־'al-H5921the wheelהָאָבְנָֽיִם׃ha.'a.ve.Na.yimH70.

4But the vesselהַכְּלִ֗יha.ke.LiH3627thatאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834heה֥וּאhu'H1931was shapingעֹשֶׂ֛ה'o.SehH6213from the clayבַּחֹ֖מֶרba.Cho.merH2563became flawedוְנִשְׁחַ֣תve.nish.ChatH7843inהַיּוֹצֵ֑ר וְשָׁ֗בhai.yo.Tzer ve.ShavH3335 H7725hishandבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027;so he formedוַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'a.Se.huH6213it into anotherאַחֵ֔ר'a.CherH312vesselכְּלִ֣יke.LiH3627,asכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834it seemedבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869bestיָשַׁ֛רya.SharH3474for himהַיּוֹצֵ֖רhai.yo.TzerH3335to doלַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ פla.'a.SotH6213.

5Then the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068cameוַיְהִ֥יvay.HiH1961to meאֵלַ֥י'e.LaiH413,sayingלֵאמֽוֹר׃le.MorH559,

6“O houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,canאוּכַ֨ל'u.KhalH3201I notלֹא־lo'-H3808treatלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213youas thisהַזֶּ֜הha.ZehH2088potterהֲכַיּוֹצֵ֨רha.khai.yo.TzerH3335treats his clay?Justהִנֵּ֤הhi.NehH2009like clayכַחֹ֙מֶר֙kha.Cho.merH2563in the potter’sהַיּוֹצֵ֔רhai.yo.TzerH3335handבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027,soכֵּן־ken-H3651are youאַתֶּ֥ם'a.TemH859in My handבְּיָדִ֖יbe.ya.DiH3027,O houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.

7At any timeרֶ֣גַעRe.ga'H7281I might announceאֲדַבֵּ֔ר'a.da.BerH1696thatעַל־'al-H5921a nationגּ֖וֹי וְעַל־Goy ve.'al-H1471 H5921or kingdomמַמְלָכָ֑הmam.la.KhahH4467will be uprootedלִנְת֥וֹשׁlin.To.oshH5428,torn downוְלִנְת֖וֹץve.lin.TotzH5422,and destroyedוּֽלְהַאֲבִֽיד׃U.le.ha.'a.VidH6.

8But if thatהַה֔וּאha.Hu'H1931nationהַגּ֣וֹיha.GoyH1471I warnedדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696עָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921turnsוְשָׁב֙ve.ShavH7725from its evilמֵרָ֣עָת֔וֹme.Ra.'a.ToH7451אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834,then I will relentוְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙ve.ni.cham.TiH5162ofעַל־'al-H5921the disasterהָ֣רָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I had plannedחָשַׁ֖בְתִּיcha.Shav.tiH2803to bringלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213.

9And if at another timeוְרֶ֣גַעve.Re.ga'H7281I announceאֲדַבֵּ֔ר עַל־'a.da.Ber 'al-H1696 H5921that I will build upלִבְנֹ֖תliv.NotH1129and establishוְלִנְטֹֽעַ׃ve.lin.To.a'H5193a nationגּ֖וֹי וְעַל־Goy ve.'al-H1471 H5921or kingdomמַמְלָכָ֑הmam.la.KhahH4467,

10and if it doesוְעָשָׂ֤הve.'a.SahH6213evilהָרַע֙ha.ra.'ahH7451in My sightבְּעֵינַ֔יbe.'ei.NaiH5869and does notלְבִלְתִּ֖יle.vil.TiH1115listenשְׁמֹ֣עַshe.Mo.a'H8085to My voiceבְּקוֹלִ֑יbe.ko.LiH6963,then I will relentוְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙ve.ni.cham.TiH5162ofעַל־'al-H5921the goodהַטּוֹבָ֔הha.to.VahH2896אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I had intended for itאָמַ֖רְתִּי לְהֵיטִ֥יב'a.Mar.ti le.hei.TivH559 H3190אוֹתֽוֹ׃ ס'o.ToH853.

11Nowוְעַתָּ֡הve.'a.TahH6258thereforeנָ֣אna'H4994,tellאֱמָר־ אֶל־'e.mor- 'el-H559 H413the menאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Judahיְהוּדָה֩ye.hu.DahH3063andוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the residentsיוֹשְׁבֵ֨יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389that this is whatלֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּ֚הle.Mor kohH3541 H559the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,Iאָנֹכִ֜י'a.no.KhiH595am planningיוֹצֵ֤רyo.TzerH3335a disasterרָעָ֔הra.'AhH7451for youעֲלֵיכֶם֙'a.lei.KhemH5921and devisingוְחֹשֵׁ֥בve.cho.ShevH2803a planמַֽחֲשָׁבָ֑הma.cha.sha.VahH4284against youעֲלֵיכֶ֖ם'a.lei.KhemH5921.Turnשׁ֣וּבוּShu.vuH7725nowנָ֗אNa'H4994,each of youאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376,from your evilהָֽרָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451waysמִדַּרְכּ֣וֹmi.dar.KoH1870,and correctוְהֵיטִ֥יבוּve.hei.Ti.vuH3190your waysדַרְכֵיכֶ֖םdar.khei.KhemH1870and deedsוּמַעַלְלֵיכֶֽם׃u.ma.'a.lei.KhemH4611.’

12But they will replyוְאָמְר֖וּve.'a.me.RuH559, ‘It is hopelessנוֹאָ֑שׁ כִּֽי־no.'Ash ki-H2976 H3588.We will followאַחֲרֵ֤י נֵלֵ֔ךְ'a.cha.Rei ne.LekhH1980 H310our own plansמַחְשְׁבוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙mach.she.vo.Tei.nuH4284,and each of usוְאִ֛ישׁve.'IshH376will actנַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ סna.'a.SehH6213according to the stubbornnessשְׁרִר֥וּתshe.ri.RutH8307of his evilהָרָ֖עha.Ra'H7451heartלִבּֽוֹ־li.bov-H3820.’”
