7I have forsakenעָזַ֙בְתִּי֙'a.Zav.tiH5800אֶת־'et-H853My houseבֵּיתִ֔יbei.TiH1004;I have abandonedנָטַ֖שְׁתִּיna.Tash.tiH5203אֶת־'et-H853My inheritanceנַחֲלָתִ֑יna.cha.la.TiH5159.I have givenנָתַ֛תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414אֶת־'et-H853the belovedיְדִד֥וּתye.di.DutH3033of My soulנַפְשִׁ֖יnaf.ShiH5315into the handsבְּכַ֥ףbe.KhafH3709of her enemiesאֹיְבֶֽיהָ׃'o.ye.Vei.haH341.

8My inheritanceנַחֲלָתִ֖יna.cha.la.TiH5159has becomeהָיְתָה־ha.ye.tah-H1961to Melike a lionכְּאַרְיֵ֣הke.'ar.YehH738in the forestבַיָּ֑עַרvai.Ya.'arH3293.She has roaredנָתְנָ֥ה בְּקוֹלָ֖הּna.te.Nah be.ko.LahH5414 H6963against Meעָלַ֛י'a.LaiH5921;thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֥ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I hate herשְׂנֵאתִֽיהָ׃se.ne.Ti.haH8130.

9Is not My inheritanceנַחֲלָתִי֙na.cha.la.TiH5159to Melike a speckledצָב֤וּעַtza.Vu.a'H6641bird of preyהַעַ֨יִטha.'A.yitH5861with other birds of preyהַעַ֖יִטha.'A.yitH5861circlingסָבִ֣יבsa.VivH5439against herעָלֶ֑יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921?Goלְכ֗וּle.KhuH1980,gatherאִסְפ֛וּ'is.FuH622allכָּל־kol-H3605the beastsחַיַּ֥תchai.YatH2416of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704;bring themהֵתָ֥יוּhe.Ta.yuH857to devour herלְאָכְלָֽה׃le.'okh.LahH402.

10Manyרַבִּים֙ra.BimH7227shepherdsרֹעִ֤יםro.'ImH7462have destroyedשִֽׁחֲת֣וּshi.cha.TuH7843My vineyardכַרְמִ֔יkhar.MiH3754;they have trampledבֹּסְס֖וּbo.se.SuH947אֶת־'et-H853My plot of groundחֶלְקָתִ֑יchel.ka.TiH2513.They have turnedנָֽתְנ֛וּna.te.NuH5414אֶת־'et-H853My pleasantחֶמְדָּתִ֖יchem.da.TiH2532fieldחֶלְקַ֥תchel.KatH2513into a desolateשְׁמָמָֽה׃she.ma.MahH8077wastelandלְמִדְבַּ֥רle.mid.BarH4057.

11They have madeשָׂמָהּ֙sa.MahH7760it a desolationשְׁמֵמָ֑הshe.me.MahH8077;desolateלִשְׁמָמָ֔הlish.ma.MahH8076before Meעָלַ֖י'a.LaiH5921,it mournsאָבְלָ֥ה'a.ve.LahH56.Allכָּל־kol-H3605the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776is laid wasteנָשַׁ֙מָּה֙na.Sha.mahH8074,butכִּ֛יkiH3588noאֵ֥ין'einH369manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376takesשָׂ֥םsamH7760it toעַל־'al-H5921heartלֵֽב׃LevH3820.

12Overעַֽל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the barren heightsשְׁפָיִ֣םshe.fa.YimH8205in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֗רba.mid.BarH4057the destroyersשֹֽׁדְדִ֔יםsho.de.DimH7703have comeבָּ֚אוּBa.'uH935,forכִּ֣יkiH3588the swordחֶ֤רֶבChe.revH2719of the LORDלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068devoursאֹֽכְלָ֔ה'o.khe.LahH398from one endמִקְצֵה־mik.tzeh-H7097of the earthאֶ֖רֶץ'E.retzH776toוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704the otherקְצֵ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץke.Tzeh ha.'A.retzH7097 H776.Noאֵ֥ין לְכָל־'ein le.kholH369 H3605fleshבָּשָֽׂר׃ סba.SarH1320has peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965.

13They have sownזָרְע֤וּza.re.'UH2232wheatחִטִּים֙chi.TimH2406but harvestedקָצָ֔רוּka.Tza.ruH7114thornsוְקֹצִ֣יםve.ko.TzimH6975.They have exhausted themselvesנֶחְל֖וּnech.LuH2470to noלֹ֣אlo'H3808availיוֹעִ֑לוּyo.'I.luH3276.Bear the shameוּבֹ֙שׁוּ֙u.Vo.shuH954of your harvestמִתְּבוּאֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םmi.te.vu.'O.tei.KhemH8393because of the fierceמֵחֲר֖וֹןme.cha.RonH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.”

14This is whatכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “As forעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605My evilהָֽרָעִ֔יםha.ra.'ImH7451neighborsשְׁכֵנַי֙she.khe.NaiH7934who attackהַנֹּֽגְעִים֙ha.no.ge.'ImH5060the inheritanceבַּֽנַּחֲלָ֔הba.na.cha.LahH5159thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I bequeathedהִנְחַ֥לְתִּיhin.Chal.tiH5157אֶת־'et-H853to My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971אֶת־'et-H853Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִנְנִ֤יYis.ra.'El hi.NiH3478 H2005,I am about to uproot themנֹֽתְשָׁם֙no.te.ShamH5428fromמֵעַ֣לme.'AlH5921their landאַדְמָתָ֔ם'ad.ma.TamH127,andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853I will uprootאֶתּ֥וֹשׁ'e.To.oshH5428the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063from among themמִתּוֹכָֽם׃mi.to.KhamH8432.

15Butוְהָיָ֗הve.ha.YahH1961afterאַֽחֲרֵי֙'a.cha.ReiH310I have uprooted themנָתְשִׁ֣יna.te.ShiH5428אוֹתָ֔ם'o.TamH853,I will once againאָשׁ֖וּב'a.ShuvH7725have compassion on themוְרִֽחַמְתִּ֑יםve.ri.cham.TimH7355and returnוַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֛יםva.ha.shi.vo.TimH7725each oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his inheritanceלְנַחֲלָת֖וֹ וְאִ֥ישׁle.na.cha.la.To ve.'IshH5159 H376and to his landלְאַרְצֽוֹ׃le.'ar.TzoH776.

16Andוְהָיָ֡הve.ha.YahH1961ifאִם־'im-H518they will diligently learnH3925אֶת־'et-H853the waysדַּֽרְכֵ֨יdar.KheiH1870of My peopleעַמִּ֜י'a.MiH5971andswearלְהִשָּׁבֵ֤עַle.hi.sha.Ve.a'H7650by My nameבִּשְׁמִי֙bish.MiH8034, saying, ‘As surely as the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068livesחַי־chai-H2416’—just asכַּאֲשֶׁ֤רka.'a.SherH834they once taughtH3925אֶת־'et-H853My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971to swearלְהִשָּׁבֵ֖עַle.hi.sha.Ve.a'H7650by Baalבַּבָּ֑עַלba.Ba.'alH1168—then they will be establishedוְנִבְנ֖וּve.niv.NuH1129amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432My peopleעַמִּֽי׃'a.MiH5971.

17But ifוְאִ֖םve.'ImH518they will notלֹ֣אlo'H3808obeyיִשְׁמָ֑עוּyish.Ma.'uH8085,then I will uprootוְנָ֨תַשְׁתִּ֜יve.Na.tash.TiH5428אֶת־'et-H853thatהַה֛וּאha.Hu'H1931nationהַגּ֥וֹיha.GoyH1471;I will uproot itנָת֥וֹשׁna.To.oshH5428and destroy itוְאַבֵּ֖דve.'a.BedH6,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.”
