32With flatteryבַּחֲלַקּ֑וֹתba.cha.la.KotH2514he will corruptיַחֲנִ֖יףya.cha.NifH2610those who violateוּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣יu.mar.shi.'EiH7561the covenantבְרִ֔יתve.RitH1285,but the peopleוְעַ֛םve.'AmH5971who knowיֹדְעֵ֥יyo.de.'EiH3045their Godאֱלֹהָ֖יו'e.lo.HavH430will firmlyיַחֲזִ֥קוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388resistוְעָשֽׂוּ׃ve.'a.SuH6213him.

33Those with insightוּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵי עָ֔םu.mas.Ki.lei 'AmH7919 H5971will instructיָבִ֖ינוּya.Vi.nuH995manyלָֽרַבִּ֑יםla.ra.BimH7227,though for a timeיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117they will fallוְנִכְשְׁל֞וּve.nikh.she.LuH3782by swordבְּחֶ֧רֶבbe.Che.revH2719or flameוּבְלֶהָבָ֛הuv.le.ha.VaH3852,or be capturedבִּשְׁבִ֥יbish.ViH7628or plunderedוּבְבִזָּ֖הuv.vi.ZahH961.

34Now when they fallוּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔םuv.hi.Ka.she.LamH3782,they will be grantedיֵעָזְר֖וּye.'a.ze.RuH5826a littleמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592helpעֵ֣זֶר'E.zerH5828,but manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227will joinוְנִלְו֧וּve.nil.VuH3867themעֲלֵיהֶ֛ם'a.lei.HemH5921insincerelyבַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃ba.cha.lak.la.KotH2519.

35Some ofוּמִן־u.min-H4480the wiseהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919will fallיִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּyi.ka.she.LuH3782so that they may be refinedלִצְר֥וֹףlitz.RofH6884,purifiedוּלְבָרֵ֥רu.le.va.RerH1305,and made spotlessוְלַלְבֵּ֖ןve.lal.BenH3835untilעַד־'ad-H5704the timeעֵ֣ת'etH6256of the endקֵ֑ץKetzH7093,forכִּי־ki-H3588it will stillע֖וֹדodH5750come at the appointed timeלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.

36Then the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428will doוְעָשָׂ֨הve.'a.SahH6213as he pleasesכִרְצוֹנ֜וֹkhir.tzo.NoH7522and will exaltוְיִתְרוֹמֵ֤םve.yit.ro.MemH7311and magnify himselfוְיִתְגַּדֵּל֙ve.yit.ga.DelH1431aboveעַל־'al-H5921everyכָּל־kol-H3605godאֵ֔ל'ElH410,and he will speakיְדַבֵּ֖רye.da.BerH1696monstrous thingsנִפְלָא֑וֹתnif.la.'otH6381againstוְעַל֙ve.'AlH5921the Godאֵ֣ל'elH410of godsאֵלִ֔ים'e.LimH410.He will be successfulוְהִצְלִ֙יחַ֙ve.hitz.Li.achH6743untilעַד־'ad-H5704the time of wrathזַ֔עַםZa.'amH2195is completedכָּ֣לָהKa.lahH3615,forכִּ֥יkiH3588what has been decreedנֶחֱרָצָ֖הne.che.ra.TzahH2782must be accomplishedנֶעֱשָֽׂתָה׃ne.'e.Sa.tahH6213.

37He will show no regardלֹ֣א יָבִ֔יןlo' ya.VinH3808 H995forוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the godsאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1,norוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921for the one desiredחֶמְדַּ֥תchem.DatH2532by womenנָשִׁ֛יםna.ShimH802,norוְעַֽל־ve.'al-H5921for anyכָּל־kol-H3605other godאֱל֖וֹהַּ לֹ֣א יָבִ֑ין'e.Lo.ah lo' ya.VinH433 H3808 H995,becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588he will magnify himselfיִתְגַּדָּֽל׃yit.ga.DalH1431aboveעַל־'al-H5921themallכֹּ֖לkolH3605.
