2Davidalso defeatedוַיַּ֣ךְvai.YakhH5221אֶת־'et-H853the Moabitesמוֹאָ֗בmo.'AvH4124,made them lie downהַשְׁכֵּ֣בhash.KevH7901אוֹתָ֣ם'o.TamH853on the groundאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776,and measured them offוַֽיְמַדְּדֵ֤םvay.ma.de.DemH4058with a cordבַּחֶ֙בֶל֙ba.Che.velH2256.He measured offוַיְמַדֵּ֤דvay.ma.DedH4058with twoשְׁנֵֽי־she.nei-H8147lengthsחֲבָלִים֙cha.va.LimH2256those to be put to deathלְהָמִ֔יתle.ha.MitH4191,and with oneוּמְלֹ֥אu.me.Lo'H4393lengthהַחֶ֖בֶלha.Che.velH2256those to be sparedלְהַחֲי֑וֹתle.ha.cha.YotH2421.So the Moabitesמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124becameוַתְּהִ֤יva.te.HiH1961subjectלַעֲבָדִ֖יםla.'a.va.DimH5650to Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732and brought himנֹשְׂאֵ֥יno.se.'EiH5375tributeמִנְחָֽה׃min.ChahH4503.
