41Soonוְהִנֵּ֛הve.hi.NehH2009allH3605the menאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of IsraelH3478cameבָּאִ֣יםba.'ImH935toאֶל־'el-H413the kingH4428and askedוַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֶל־vai.yo.me.Ru 'el-H559H413H4428, “Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069did our brothersאַחֵ֜ינוּ'a.Chei.nuH251,the menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of JudahH3063,take you away secretlyגְּנָב֨וּךָge.na.Vu.khaH1589and bring the kingH4428H853and his householdבֵּיתוֹ֙bei.ToH1004H853acrossH5674H853the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןhai.yar.DenH3383,together withH5973allH3605of David’sדָוִ֖דda.VidH1732menH376?”
42And allH3605the menH376of JudahH3063repliedוַיַּעַן֩vai.ya.'AnH6030toעַל־'al-H5921the menH376of IsraelH3478, “We did thisbecauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588the kingH4428is ourH413relativeקָר֤וֹבka.RovH7138.Whyוְלָ֤מָּהve.La.mahH4100does thisזֶּה֙zehH2088angerחָרָ֣הcha.RahH2734youעַל־ הַדָּבָ֖ר הַזֶּ֑ה'al- ha.da.Var ha.ZehH5921H1697H2088?Have we ever eatenH398atמִן־min-H4480the king’sH4428expenseorאִם־'im-H518H5375received anythingH5375for ourselves?”
