9So Solomon builtוַיִּ֥בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129אֶת־'et-H853the templeהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004and finished itוַיְכַלֵּ֑הוּvay.kha.Le.huH3615,roofingוַיִּסְפֹּ֤ןvai.yis.PonH5603אֶת־'et-H853itהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004with beamsגֵּבִ֔יםge.VimH1356and planksוּשְׂדֵרֹ֖תu.se.de.RotH7713of cedarבָּאֲרָזִֽים׃ba.'a.ra.ZimH730.

10He builtוַיִּ֤בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129אֶת־'et-H853chambersהַיָּצִ֙יעַ֙hai.ya.tzo.a'H3326all alongעַל־ כָּל־'al- kol-H5921 H3605the templeהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004, eachfiveחָמֵ֥שׁcha.MeshH2568cubitsאַמּ֖וֹת'a.MotH520highקֽוֹמָת֑וֹko.ma.ToH6967and attachedוַיֶּאֱחֹ֥זvai.ye.'e.ChozH270אֶת־'et-H853to the templeהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004with beamsבַּעֲצֵ֥יba.'a.TzeiH6086of cedarאֲרָזִֽים׃ פ'a.ra.ZimH730.

11Then the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068cameוַֽיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961toאֶל־'el-H413Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559:

12“As for thisהַזֶּ֜הha.ZehH2088templeהַבַּ֨יִתha.Ba.yitH1004אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834youאַתָּ֣ה'a.TahH859are buildingבֹנֶ֗הvo.NehH1129,ifאִם־'im-H518you walkתֵּלֵ֤ךְte.LekhH1980in My statutesבְּחֻקֹּתַי֙be.chu.ko.TaiH2708וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853,carry outתַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔הta.'a.SehH6213My ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֣יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and keepוְשָׁמַרְתָּ֥ve.sha.mar.TaH8104אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605My commandmentsמִצְוֹתַ֖יmitz.vo.TaiH4687by walkingלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980in them,I will fulfillוַהֲקִמֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965אֶת־'et-H853through youאִתָּ֔ךְ'i.TakhH854the promiseדְּבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I madeדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696toאֶל־'el-H413your fatherאָבִֽיךָ׃'a.Vi.khaH1Davidדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732.

13And I will dwellוְשָׁ֣כַנְתִּ֔יve.Sha.khan.TiH7931amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478and will notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808abandonאֶעֱזֹ֖ב'e.'e.ZoH5800אֶת־'et-H853My peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.”

14So Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010builtוַיִּ֧בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129the templeהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004and finishedוַיְכַלֵּֽהוּ׃vay.kha.Le.huH3615itאֶת־'et-H853.

15He linedוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129אֶת־'et-H853the interiorH1004wallsקִיר֨וֹתki.RotH7023with cedarאֲרָזִ֔ים'a.ra.ZimH730panelingבְּצַלְע֣וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763from the floorמִקַּרְקַ֤עmi.kar.Ka'H7172of the templeH1004toעַד־'ad-H5704קִיר֣וֹתki.RotH7023the ceilingהַסִּפֻּ֔ןha.si.PunH5604צִפָּ֥הtzi.PahH6823H1004עֵ֖ץ'etzH6086,and he coveredוַיְצַ֛ףvay.TzafH6823אֶת־'et-H853the floorקַרְקַ֥עkar.Ka'H7172 H1004with cypressבְּרוֹשִֽׁים׃be.ro.ShimH1265boardsבְּצַלְע֥וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763.

16He partitioned offוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129אֶת־'et-H853the twentyעֶשְׂרִ֨ים'es.RimH6242cubitsאַמָּ֜ה'a.MahH520atמִן־min-H4480the rearמִֽיַּרְכְּתֵ֤יmi.yar.ko.teiH3411of the templeהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004with cedarאֲרָזִ֔ים'a.ra.ZimH730boardsבְּצַלְע֣וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763from floorהַקַּרְקַ֖עha.kar.Ka'H7172toעַד־'ad-H5704ceilingהַקִּיר֑וֹתha.ki.RotH7023to formוַיִּ֤בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129within the templeמִבַּ֣יִתmi.Ba.yitH1004an inner sanctuaryלִדְבִ֔ירlid.VirH1687,the Most Holy PlaceH6944.
