8Then Jezebel wroteוַתִּכְתֹּ֤בva.tikh.ToH3789lettersסְפָרִים֙se.fa.RimH5612in Ahab’sאַחְאָ֔ב'ach.'AvH256nameבְּשֵׁ֣םbe.ShemH8034,sealed themבְּחֹתָמ֑וֹbe.cho.ta.MoH2368with his sealוַתַּחְתֹּ֖םva.tach.TomH2856,and sentוַתִּשְׁלַ֣חva.tish.LachH7971themסְפָרִ֗יםhas.fa.rimH5612toאֶל־'el-H413the eldersהַזְקֵנִ֤ים וְאֶל־haz.ke.Nim ve.'el-H2205 H413and noblesהַֽחֹרִים֙ha.cho.RimH2715whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834livedהַיֹּשְׁבִ֖יםhai.yo.she.VimH3427withאֶת־'et-H854Nabothנָבֽוֹת׃na.VotH5022in his cityבְּעִיר֔וֹbe.'i.RoH5892.

9In the lettersבַּסְּפָרִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑רba.se.fa.Rim le.MorH5612 H559she wroteוַתִּכְתֹּ֥בva.tikh.ToH3789: “Proclaimקִֽרְאוּ־kir.'u-H7121a fastצ֔וֹםTzomH6685and giveוְהוֹשִׁ֥יבוּve.ho.Shi.vuH3427אֶת־'et-H853Nabothנָב֖וֹתna.VotH5022a seat of honorבְּרֹ֥אשׁbe.RoshH7218among the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

10But seatוְ֠הוֹשִׁיבוּVe.ho.shi.vuH3427twoשְׁנַ֨יִם אֲנָשִׁ֥ים בְּנֵֽי־she.Na.yim 'a.na.Shim be.nei-H8147 H582 H1121scoundrelsבְלִיַּעַל֮ve.li.ya.'AlH1100opposite himנֶגְדּוֹ֒neg.DoH5048and have them testifyוִיעִדֻ֣הוּ לֵאמֹ֔רvi.'i.Du.hu le.MorH5749 H559, ‘You have cursedבֵּרַ֥כְתָּbe.Rakh.taH1288bothGodאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430and the kingוָמֶ֑לֶךְva.Me.lekhH4428!’Then take him outוְהוֹצִיאֻ֥הוּve.ho.tzi.'U.huH3318and stone himוְסִקְלֻ֖הוּve.sik.Lu.huH5619to deathוְיָמֹֽת׃ve.ya.MotH4191.”

11אַנְשֵׁ֨י'an.SheiH582עִיר֜וֹi.RoH5892So the eldersהַזְּקֵנִ֣יםha.ze.ke.NimH2205and noblesוְהַחֹרִ֗יםve.ha.cho.RimH2715whoאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834livedהַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙hai.yo.she.VimH3427in Naboth’s cityבְּעִיר֔וֹbe.'i.RoH5892didוַיַּעֲשׂוּ֩vai.ya.'a.SuH6213asכַּאֲשֶׁ֛רka.'a.SherH834Jezebelאִיזָ֑בֶל'i.Za.velH348had instructedשָׁלְחָ֥הsha.le.ChahH7971אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH413כַּאֲשֶׁ֤רka.'a.SherH834כָּתוּב֙ka.TuvH3789in the lettersבַּסְּפָרִ֔יםba.se.fa.RimH5612אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834she had writtenשָׁלְחָ֖הsha.le.ChahH7971to themאֲלֵיהֶֽם׃'a.lei.HemH413.

12They proclaimedקָרְא֖וּka.re.'UH7121a fastצ֑וֹםTzomH6685and gaveוְהֹשִׁ֥יבוּve.ho.Shi.vuH3427אֶת־'et-H853Nabothנָב֖וֹתna.VotH5022a seat of honorבְּרֹ֥אשׁbe.RoshH7218among the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

13And the twoשְׁנֵ֨יshe.NeiH8147scoundrelsהָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים בְּנֵֽי־ בְלִיַּעַל֮ha.'a.na.Shim be.nei- ve.li.ya.'AlH1100 H582 H1121came inוַ֠יָּבֹאוּVai.ya.vo.'uH935and satוַיֵּשְׁב֣וּvai.ye.she.VuH3427oppositeנֶגְדּוֹ֒neg.DoH5048Naboth,andהַבְּלִיַּ֜עַלha.be.li.Ya.'alH1100these menאֶת־'et-H853אַנְשֵׁ֨י'an.SheiH582testifiedוַיְעִדֻהוּ֩vay.'i.du.HuH5749againstנָב֗וֹתna.VotH5022himbeforeנֶ֤גֶדNe.gedH5048the peopleהָעָם֙ha.'AmH5971,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Nabothנָב֛וֹתna.VotH5022has cursedבֵּרַ֥ךְbe.RakhH1288bothGodאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430and the kingוָמֶ֑לֶךְva.Me.lekhH4428!”So they took himוַיֹּצִאֻ֙הוּ֙vai.yo.tzi.'U.huH3318outsideמִח֣וּץmi.ChutzH2351the cityלָעִ֔ירla.'IrH5892and stoned himוַיִּסְקְלֻ֥הוּvai.yis.ke.Lu.huH5619to deathוַיָּמֹֽת׃vai.ya.MotH4191בָאֲבָנִ֖יםva.'a.va.NimH68.
