22Then Elijahאֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙'e.li.Ya.huH452saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971, “Iאֲנִ֞י'a.NiH589am the onlyלְבַדִּ֑יle.va.DiH905remainingנוֹתַ֧רְתִּיno.Tar.tiH3498prophetנָבִ֛יאna.Vi'H5030of the LORDלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068,but Baalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168hasfourאַרְבַּע־'ar.ba'-H702hundredמֵא֥וֹתme.'otH3967and fiftyוַחֲמִשִּׁ֖יםva.cha.mi.ShimH2572prophetsוּנְבִיאֵ֣י אִֽישׁ׃u.ne.vi.'Ei 'IshH5030 H376.

23Getוְיִתְּנוּ־ve.yi.te.nu-H5414twoשְׁנַ֣יִםshe.Na.yimH8147bullsפָּרִ֗יםpa.RimH6499for us.Let the prophets of Baal chooseוְיִבְחֲר֣וּve.yiv.cha.RuH977oneהָאֶחָ֜דha.'e.ChadH259bullהַפָּ֨רha.ParH6499for themselves,cut it into piecesוִֽינַתְּחֻ֗הוּvi.na.te.Chu.huH5408,and placeוְיָשִׂ֙ימוּ֙ve.ya.Si.muH7760it onעַל־'al-H5921the woodהָ֣עֵצִ֔יםha.'e.TzimH6086but notלֹ֣אlo'H3808lightיָשִׂ֑ימוּya.Si.muH7760the fireוְאֵ֖שׁve.'EshH784.And Iוַאֲנִ֞יva.'a.NiH589will prepareאֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה׀'e.'e.SehH6213אֶת־'et-H853the otherהָאֶחָ֗דha.'e.ChadH259bullהַפָּ֣רha.ParH6499and placeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414it onעַל־'al-H5921the woodהָ֣עֵצִ֔יםha.'e.TzimH6086but notלֹ֥אlo'H3808lightאָשִֽׂים׃'a.SimH7760the fireוְאֵ֖שׁve.'EshH784.

24Then you may callוּקְרָאתֶ֞םu.ke.ra.TemH7121on the nameבְּשֵׁ֣םbe.ShemH8034of your godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,and Iוַֽאֲנִי֙va.'a.NiH589will callאֶקְרָ֣א'ek.Ra'H7121on the nameבְשֵׁם־ve.shem-H8034of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068וְהָיָ֧הve.ha.YahH1961.The Godהָאֱלֹהִ֛יםha.'E.lo.HimH430whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834answersיַעֲנֶ֥הya.'a.NehH6030by fireבָאֵ֖שׁva.'EshH784,Heה֣וּאhu'H1931isGodהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430.”And allכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971answeredוַיַּ֧עַן וַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.Ya.'an vai.yo.me.RuH559 H6030, “What you sayהַדָּבָֽר׃ha.da.VarH1697is goodט֥וֹבTovH2896.”

25Then Elijahאֵלִיָּ֜הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the prophetsלִנְבִיאֵ֣יlin.vi.'EiH5030of Baalהַבַּ֗עַלha.Ba.'alH1168, “Sinceכִּ֥יkiH3588youאַתֶּ֖ם'a.TemH859are so numerousהָרַבִּ֑יםha.ra.BimH7227,chooseבַּחֲר֨וּba.cha.RuH977for yourselvesoneהָֽאֶחָד֙ha.'e.ChadH259bullהַפָּ֤רha.ParH6499and prepareוַעֲשׂ֣וּva.'a.SuH6213it firstרִאשֹׁנָ֔הri.sho.NahH7223.Then callוְקִרְאוּ֙ve.kir.'UH7121on the nameבְּשֵׁ֣םbe.ShemH8034of your godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,but do notלֹ֥אlo'H3808lightתָשִֽׂימוּ׃ta.Si.muH7760the fireוְאֵ֖שׁve.'EshH784.”
