26And he didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213evilהָרַ֖עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068and walkedוַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙vai.Ye.lekhH1980in the wayבְּדֶ֣רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870of his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1and in his sinוּ֨בְחַטָּאת֔וֹu.ve.cha.ta.ToH2403,whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834he had caused Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478to commitהֶחֱטִ֖יאhe.che.Ti'H2398אֶת־'et-H853.
27Then Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֤אba'.Sha'H1201sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahijahאֲחִיָּה֙'a.chi.YahH281of the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Issacharיִשָּׂשכָ֔רyi.so.sh.KharH3485conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֨רvai.yik.ShorH7194against Nadabעָלָ֜יו'a.LavH5921,and Baashaבַעְשָׁ֔אva'.Sha'H1201struck him downוַיַּכֵּ֣הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221at Gibbethonבְּגִבְּת֖וֹןbe.gi.be.TonH1405אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834of the Philistinesלַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםla.pe.lish.TimH6430while Nadabוְנָדָב֙ve.na.DavH5070and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478were besiegingצָרִ֖ים עַֽל־tza.Rim 'al-H6696H5921the cityגִּבְּתֽוֹן׃gi.be.TonH1405.
29As soon asוַיְהִ֣יvay.HiH1961Baasha became kingכְמָלְכ֗וֹkhe.ma.le.KhoH4427,he struck downהִכָּה֙hi.KahH5221אֶת־'et-H853the entireכָּל־kol-H3605householdבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֔םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379.He did notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808leaveהִשְׁאִ֧ירhish.'IrH7604to Jeroboamלְיָרָבְעָ֖ם עַד־le.ya.ra.ve.'Am 'ad-H3379H5704anyoneכָּל־kol-H3605who breathedנְשָׁמָ֛הne.sha.MahH5397,but destroyed them allהִשְׁמִד֑וֹhish.mi.DoH8045according to the wordכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068had spokenדִּבֶּ֔רdi.BerH1696throughבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027His servantעַבְדּ֖וֹav.DoH5650Ahijahאֲחִיָּ֥ה'a.chi.YahH281the Shiloniteהַשִּׁילֹנִֽי׃ha.shi.lo.NiH7888,
