27ThenBaashaבַּעְשָׁ֤אba'.Sha'H1201the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahijahאֲחִיָּה֙'a.chi.YahH281of the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Issacharיִשָּׂשכָ֔רyi.so.sh.KharH3485conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֨רvai.yik.ShorH7194againstH5921him, and Baashaבַעְשָׁ֔אva'.Sha'H1201struckH5221him downוַיַּכֵּ֣הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221atGibbethonבְּגִבְּת֖וֹןbe.gi.be.TonH1405,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834belonged to the Philistinesלַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםla.pe.lish.TimH6430,while Nadabוְנָדָב֙ve.na.DavH5070and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478were layingH6696siegeצָרִ֖יםtza.RimH6696to Gibbethonגִּבְּתֽוֹן׃gi.be.TonH1405.

28So Baashaבַעְשָׁ֔אva'.Sha'H1201killedוַיְמִתֵ֣הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him in the thirdשָׁלֹ֔שׁsha.LoshH7969yearבִּשְׁנַ֣תbish.NatH8141of Asaלְאָסָ֖אle.'a.Sa'H609kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063and reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃tach.TavH8478.

29It cameוַיְהִ֣יvay.HiH1961about as soon as he was kingכְמָלְכ֗וֹkhe.ma.le.KhoH4427,he struckH5221downH5221allכָּל־kol-H3605the householdבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֔םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379.He did not leaveהִשְׁאִ֧ירhish.'IrH7604to Jeroboamלְיָרָבְעָ֖םle.ya.ra.ve.'AmH3379anyכָּל־kol-H3605personsH5397aliveH5397,untilעַד־'ad-H5704he had destroyedהִשְׁמִד֑וֹhish.mi.DoH8045them,according to the wordכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834He spokeדִּבֶּ֔רdi.BerH1696by His servantעַבְדּ֖וֹav.DoH5650Ahijahאֲחִיָּ֥ה'a.chi.YahH281the Shiloniteהַשִּׁילֹנִֽי׃ha.shi.lo.NiH7888,
