17But Hadadאֲדַ֡ד הוּא֩'a.Dad hu'H111H1931,still justוַאֲנָשִׁ֨יםva.'a.na.ShimH582a youngקָטָֽן׃ka.TanH6996boyנַ֥עַרNa.'arH5288,had fledוַיִּבְרַ֣חvai.yiv.RachH1272to Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִם וַהֲדַ֖דmitz.Ra.yim va.ha.DadH4714H1908,along withאִתּ֖וֹ לָב֣וֹא'i.To la.Vo'H854H935some Edomitesאֲדֹמִיִּ֜ים'a.do.mi.YimH130who were servantsמֵעַבְדֵ֥יme.'av.DeiH5650of his fatherאָבִ֛יו'a.VivH1.
18Hadad and his men set outוַיָּקֻ֙מוּ֙vai.ya.Ku.muH6965from Midianמִמִּדְיָ֔ןmi.mid.YanH4080and wentוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to Paranפָּארָ֑ןpa.RanH6290.They tookוַיִּקְחוּ֩vai.yik.ChuH3947menאֲנָשִׁ֨ים'a.na.ShimH582from Paranמִפָּארָ֗ןmi.pa.RanH6290with themעִמָּ֜ם'i.MamH5973and wentוַיָּבֹ֤אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714,toאֶל־'el-H413Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֣הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,who gaveוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414Hadada houseבַ֗יִתVa.yitH1004נָ֥תַןNa.tanH5414and landוְאֶ֖רֶץve.'E.retzH776and providedאָ֣מַר'A.marH559himwith foodוְלֶ֙חֶם֙ve.Le.chemH3899.
19There Hadadהֲדַ֥דha.DadH1908foundוַיִּמְצָא֙vai.yim.Tza'H4672such greatמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966favorחֵ֛ןchenH2580in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of Pharaohפַרְעֹ֖הfar.'OhH6547that he gaveוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414to himin marriageאִשָּׁה֙'i.ShahH802אֶת־'et-H853the sisterH269of Queenהַגְּבִירָֽה׃ha.ge.vi.RahH1377Tahpenesתַּחְפְּנֵ֥יסtach.pe.NeisH8472,his own wifeאִשְׁתּ֔וֹ'ish.ToH802.
