Proverbs 30:15-33
15The horseleach hath twoH8147 daughtersH1323, crying, GiveH3051, giveH3051.There are threeH7969 thingsH7969 that are never satisfiedH7646,Yea, fourH702 that sayH559 not, Enough:16SheolH7585; and the barren wombH7356;The earthH776 that is not satisfiedH7646 with waterH4325;And the fireH784 that saith not, Enough.17The eyeH5869 that mocketh at his fatherH1,And despiseth to obey his motherH517,The ravensH6158 of the valley shall pick it out,And the youngH1121 eaglesH5404 shall eatH398 it.18There are threeH7969 thingsH7969 which are too wonderfulH6381 for me,Yea, fourH702 which I knowH3045 not:19The wayH1870 of an eagleH5404 in the air;The wayH1870 of a serpent upon a rockH6697;The wayH1870 of a shipH591 in the midst of the seaH3220;And the wayH1870 of a manH1397 with a maiden.20SoH3651 is the wayH1870 of an adulterousH5003 womanH802;She eateth, and wipeth her mouthH6310,And saith, I have done no wickednessH205.21For threeH7969 thingsH7969 the earthH776 doth trembleH7264,And for fourH702, whichit cannot bearH5375:22For a servantH5650 when he is kingH4427;And a foolH5036 when he is filled with foodH3899;23For an odious woman when she is marriedH1166;And a handmaid that is heir to her mistressH1404.24There are fourH702 thingsH702 which are littleH6996 upon the earthH776,But they are exceeding wiseH2450:25The ants are a peopleH5971 not strongH5794,Yet they provide their foodH3899 in the summerH7019;26The conies are but a feeble folk,Yet makeH7760 they their housesH1004 in the rocksH5553;27The locustsH697 have no kingH4428,Yet goH3318 they forthH3318 all of them by bands;28The lizard taketh hold with her handsH3027,Yet is she in kings’H4428 palacesH1964.29There are threeH7969 thingsH7969 which are stately in their march,Yea, fourH702 which are stately in going:30The lionH3918, which is mightiestH1368 among beasts,And turneth not awayH7725 for any;31The greyhound; the he-goat also; And the kingH4428 against whom there is no rising up.32If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself,Or if thou hast thought evil,Lay thy handH3027 upon thy mouthH6310.33For the churning of milkH2461 bringeth forthH3318 butter,And the wringing of the noseH639 bringeth forthH3318 bloodH1818;So the forcing of wrath bringeth forthH3318 strifeH7379.
