James 4:4-6
4Ye adulteressesG3428, know ye not that the friendship of the worldG2889 isG1510 enmity with GodG2316? Whosoever thereforeG3767 would beG1510 a friendG5384 of the worldG2889 maketh himself an enemyG2190 of GodG2316.
5Or thinkG1380 ye that the scriptureG1124 speaketh in vain? Doth the spiritG4151 which he made to dwellG2730 in us longG1971 unto envyingG5355?
6But he giveth more graceG5485. Wherefore the scripture saith, GodG2316 resisteth the proud, but giveth graceG5485 to the humbleG5011.
