Daniel 11:21-29
21And in his place shall standH5975 up a contemptible person, to whom they had not givenH5414 the honor of the kingdomH4438: but he shall comeH935 in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdomH4438 by flatteries. 22And the overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be brokenH7665; yea, alsoH1571 the princeH5057 of the covenantH1285. 23And after the league madeH6213 with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall comeH5927 up, and shall become strong, with a smallH4592 people. 24In timeH6256 of security shall he comeH935 even upon the fattest places of the provinceH4082; and he shall do that which his fathersH1 have not done, nor his fathers’H1 fathersH1; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoilH7998, and substance: yea, he shall devise his devices against the strongholdsH4013, even for a timeH6256. 25And he shall stirH5782 up his powerH3581 and his courage against the kingH4428 of the southH5045 with a greatH1419 armyH2428; and the kingH4428 of the southH5045 shall warH4421 in battleH4421 with an exceeding greatH1419 and mightyH6099 armyH2428; but he shall not standH5975; for they shall devise devices against him. 26Yea, they that eatH398 of his dainties shall destroy him, and his armyH2428 shall overflowH7857; and manyH7227 shall fallH5307 downH5307 slainH2491. 27And as for both these kingsH4428, their heartsH3824 shall be to do mischief, and they shall speakH1696 liesH3577 at oneH259 tableH7979: but it shall not prosperH6743; for yetH5750 the endH7093 shall be at the timeH4150 appointedH4150.
28Then shall he returnH7725 into his landH776 with greatH1419 substance; and his heartH3824 shall be against the holyH6944 covenantH1285; and he shall do his pleasure, and returnH7725 to his own landH776. 29At the timeH4150 appointedH4150 he shall returnH7725, and comeH935 into the southH5045; but it shall not beH1961 in the latterH314 timeH4150 as it wasH1961 in the formerH7223.
